Yeah, I agree, they do say things to keep you shopping... I spoke with one SA in US and she told me that the wait list for PM Reverse and Mono is so full that they stopped to take the names, but that does not mean they are discontinued, we just have to wait. You can still ask your SA IN THE STORE to put you on the waitlist. So honestly, I do not understand now...my SA in EU told me (and I totally trust him, he has done things for me which are amazing!) that PM Reverse is of the production (like REALLY!), once this decision is made it will follow in other parts of the world shortly, I have no clue why it won't hit the US...but I was told that the production in US continues...strange...basically everyday I get from US' SA different answer...why they do it? Keep you shopping and calling and ...and...and...be crazy about LV and their products (we are anyway, right?)
Lol. I think they love to drive us crazy!! They must like the "mystery" and theories we LV fans come up with. Sheesh. If it were me - give me the money - I'll sell you a purse. Done.
Hi, I am new to this forum. I'd like to share how I ordered my mono PM.Originally I fell in love with the cherry PM. Last Wednesday, I went to LV store near LA and was able to try on reverse and noir PM. I ended up having SA adding me to the 700+ mono waiting list. She did tell me that by the beginning of next year, the production line of PM will be in full capacity. (Not sure if she is correct) Anyway, I tried LV website that night and was able to order one mono PM with the help of information from this forum. I will receive my mono PM tomorrow which will be my 25th anniversary. Keep my finger crossed that I will receive my PM in perfect condition. Will post pic once I receive my PM tomorrow.
The above images are the pictures of reverse and noir PMs. I also tried cheery Mazarine to see how the real tone of cherry leather looks like.
Would you be concerned about this or is this normal? The leather tab above the lock of my marine rouge PM doesn't have the grooves that are stamped/pressed on the sides. My SA said it's possible that the stamping was light and has already faded... Not sure if that would happen with a brand new bag though. I kinda like the smooth look but I don't know if this is a defect. Help!

I'm not sure what you are saying is wrong? Are you saying the tab should have the logo on it? I don't think it is supposed to....

That makes sense! It seems weird that the SA said it would already be faded, it seems like they forgot that step for the piece...
@chocodcocoa - thank you for posting this picture. I checked the Mono and Reverse bags I received today and the Mono has the stamping on the tab, but the Reverse does not and the date code on the Reverse is less than a month (SD2117).It doesn't bother me that it isn't stamped, but I wonder if there is something else "lacking" on the bag(s).
