no one can decide for someone else what to do. if you want 2 models of the same bag, do it. if you want 4 models of the same bag, do it. would i do that? never, for several reasons. the top 2 reasons: one, if you are buying LV products for their longevity and craftsmanship, then do you really expect bag #1 to wear out so badly that you need a backup? 2) no style is an HG bag for women who truly love bags and something else will come along you like/love more, and then your money is tied up in that second bag. there are other reasons, too. and YT, oh gee, many of them return/sell stuff after they unbox it anyway, so don't use any of those people as a barometer for your own life and money.

Thanks for letting me know. I thought I read in another thread somewhere that they could replace or add this without any issues. I'll ask at one of their boutiques regardless. If the answer is NO, then so be it. I just really love the original PM and thought the pull added something
I just went through something similar with the reverse & regular mono, though my reasons for doing so were different than what you are describing. Ultimately I decided to keep the reverse & sell the mono bc I know I wouldn't get enough use out of it (for even more reasons than I wrote on this thread) to justify keeping it. I'm using the funds to buy a different bag, of which I already want at least one other color if not 2 ha ha!
I see absolutely nothing wrong with having different colors of the same item. If it adds value to you & your lifestyle in whatever form or fashion then who's to tell you differently?!
And that youtuber...if it's the same one I'm thinking of I've watched a lot of her videos. & again if it's the same one...later she does a video where she actually goes back & adds an LV PA into her collection & I think she has a cles as well. But she also had a lot of other stuff going on, one of which is trying to keep her collection to 10 bags. So she wanted to make sure each bag fit not only her lifestyle but also her aesthetic. And she owns several Chanel & also Balenciaga, etc so it's not the LV price point.
All that to say it's not crazy to own more than one style of bag in different colors!!! If you love it then go for it!!!

The alignment is good, no problems with the seams or glazing. Made in USA -- would prefer France, but I don't really care (I had a perfect MIF one in 2015 but stupidly sold it -- my bad!). Date code is SD1187. Hope everyone else who've been stalking online gets their scores!

It's hard. I had to move the purse around and pull and tug and have a light shine in it to see. But agreed. It's hard. I was like "I am destroying my bag to see this damn code!"
It was indeed super hard to see, but I believe mine is DR1147. So also recently made, in April (mine is a reverse).
Did you purchase the bag recently? You would think such a popular bag would be coming straight off the production line. We are in week 23 or 24 now. I can't help but assume some of these bags are returns from other clients (Sorry!)
I did buy it just last week, but it had stickers on all hardware and no flaws upon inspection. So if it was a return, I don't mind

I was checking the whole day today. No payment went through yet. Still says pending order validation.
But i have not recieve any email from louis vuitton that there was something wrong with my credit card like yesterday. I am shipping to the store and not to home. Maybe thats why its taking longer to process? Because i saw some youtube videos saying their louis vuittons were stolen in the mail before delivery, so all they recieved was an empty box. @Carrotcake - I would call the bank again with a follow-up call to Louis Vuitton.. Sometimes it takes more than one call to get the transaction through. I don't think Louis Vuitton won't send another email, unless it's notification that the order is in jeopardy of being cancelled. You really have to "babysit" getting this transaction through. My delivery is scheduled for today, so hopefully I'll have an update soon. . I can't be excited until I receive the bag.
