I don't have the mono version (mine is the IR) but I think it looks completely normal. I think when hanging against the body it will look different but I will say this...to me it looks like the bag is stuffed in the middle and front sections so that might be why it hangs funny?

+1

Hi everyone! I haven't seen this bag in person so I'm not familiar with how it should hang. My friend just got very lucky and was able to get it from online but it doesn't seem right. We don't live near a store so we hoped someone here could give some input. The d rings seemed to be sewn a little tilted towards the back of the bag. I'm posting pics of the side d rings plus a side pics of the hanging - the left is the bag hanging empty and the right is with stuff in it. Do all the bags hang like this? Any input would be appreciated! TIA!!

My empreinte version is the same, unless I put my ipad mini in the back.

It's something to do with the load distribution and the centre of gravity

Thank you for your responses! We thought the same thing about the weight of what's in there but it's off center when it's empty. We weren't sure if it should be that way without anything in it (the pic on the left in the double is empty). The tip just gets worse the more that's in it. Does yours do that even with nothing in it?

Here it is empty :)

It's the weight of the hardware and front flop :)

To you lucky ladies (and gents) who have both the PM in the Canvas and Empreinte... do you feel the Canvas is a bit heavier with your things compared to the Empreinte? Or does it feel pretty much the same?

I have the Infrarouge and love it! But it feels a bit heavy even when it's not fully stuffed... the Empreinte version is making me curious on whether it's just as heavy? TIA!

P.S. Does anyone know if the Empreinte PM is part of the permanent collection... or seasonal?

I'm joining this club!

Went to the LV boutique in my city and paid full advance for a mono PM. They were completely sold out of it (of course), but they had a reverse monogram PM that was waiting to be picked up, so I was at least able to try it on.

I was very tempted by the reverse mono, but went with regular mono in the end.

The SA told me it would take 4 weeks. I live within 10 mins walking distance from the boutique (0.4 miles). You can bet I'll be there within the hour once I get the text, lol.

It looks normal. Mine is the same, apparently the angle it like that now to prevent rubbing on the glazing so much. When it was sewn straight and then wearing crossbody it was rubbing firmly on the glazing. That's what I've heard anyway.

I'm looking to get a PM and wondering if the strap is to long to wear for shoulder wear. Has anyone added a shorter strap to their PM for shoulder wear?
As buluuuu@ mentioned, it is adjustable
and if that is not good enough,
Ask boutique to punch extra hole/s to the bag strap. My problem was opposite,
so I hook an extender to it
