Hello,

i have get the third replacement of my PM Reverse. I´m from Germany and all three bags are made in France. It´s allways the same problem, more or less, but
the corners of all the bags are not rounded....Has someone the same problem? I have bought mine on 9th of december and since than i´m returning the replacemnts because of many little defects and yesterday arrived mine again from Paris and this bag is the worest of all...What should I do? I´m afraid to call the costumer service, cause its again a defect bag for me...

I am sorry you did not have a good experience so far - I think the misalignment in the first pic would bother me too but he slight uneven-ness in the other pics I have seen on my PM reverse too. It does not bother me sufficiently to return it.

So sorry you had so much bad luck with the PMs you received. I am not exactly sure what the defects are- is it the misshaping of the canvas? But if you have the feeling that you cannot accept them, then maybe this bag is not the right one for you. Mine is also not perfect, but I can live with it´s little flaws. They don´t bother me.
I guess waiting for the perfect bag is a bit like waiting for the perfect man :lol: . I keep my fingers crossed for you to get a bag you will love.
 
I thought I'd found the perfect cross body in this bag! Although I can't even get on a waitlist for it. The waitlist is closed where I am. But now I'm wondering if it's even worth it?!? The quality issues you guys have experienced is terrible and now I'm not only doubting this bag but all lv.

The glazing is very disappointing. Does anyone know if they are going to try and rectify the design or have some system to remedy this long term?

This would be my daily bag and it will get some hard use running after two kids so mine will definitely cop it if I end up getting it. I really desperately need a good crossbody that will for my wallet, phone, keys, makeup and sunglasses and this one ticked so many boxes but I don't whether to get it and hope for the best, knowing that I'm going to have issues or try for something else.

If down the track the glazing happens, how much would lv charge to repair? I understand they may exchange in the short term but if this keeps happening I guess I will have to pay? So how much does it cost?

I had such high hopes for this bag.

I got on the waitinglist yesterday. Had to pay full deposit. I called CS this monday just too check if there would be a price increase on the bag. They called back from the Stockholm store on tuesday but I missed the first call on. Yesterday they called me again after e-mailing LV and I got to buy to the price before the increase.
When I talked to the SA I told her that they have to check the bag before they send it to me because I´ve heard about quality issues.
She told me absolutely and that bags are controlled at the fabric a couple of times (with some bags I´ve seen they must have blind quality staff)

I´m having my thumbs crossed. The Pochette Metis is just to beautiful not to buy.

I know right? It's stunning! I am in Australia and they told me to call every week as the waiting list was closed. I rang again today and they put me on the list finally! I'm just very worried about the glazing issues so I'm going to keep looking at other bags while I wait for it to come in.
 
Would the canvas being misaligned bother you? This is the replacement bag for the first one as the first one had little slits in the canvas on the front corners. This bag seems a tiny bit misshapen and misaligned. I love the look of the reverse monogram metis and leaning towards keeping it, wearing it, and being happy with it. Thoughts?
Does the clasp look crooked to you?
 
Had to happen. Could anyone please give me some advice on the glazing that came off my PM? If I take it into the store, will they repair/replace it?

Hi I just had this happen to me right before Christmas. Same exact problem there and on the opposite side of the bag. They gave me another bag sight on seen. I was a bit annoyed because I had a MIF bag and I got a Made in USA bag as a replacement. I've not carried it yet because the weather's been terrible here and am hesitant in carrying it. Good luck!
 
such a shame, this is such a beautiful bag, but I can't stomach the constant problems - it decided to exchange mine for the new epi speedy b 25, at least I got a timeless LV - classic and a bag I can use in all situations - I love the PM but don't want to be worried about whether the lock will be scratched or chip, the glazing will come undone etc.

I hope everyone's issues are being dealt with appropriately

So the price of the classic monogram version in Canada has increased by $100 - makes me so frustrated especially with all the quality issues I'm reading about. I've been on a waitlist for three weeks. I've already been called in two times to pick up a bag and both (different) times I ended up leaving without the bag due to issues I saw (misaligned monogram, stains on the vachetta leather, etc). I wonder if they'll honor the old price since that's when I ordered the bag?

Also, it seems extremely hard to get a MIF version - all the ones I've seen are Made in US...

They should honor the price. There were 3 on Bloor street yesterday. I don't think anyone will find a perfect one as they are hand made.
