One way to see if you might have received a returned bag is to look at the date code. Since these are in high demand, the week of production in the date code should be very recent if you get a new bag. Mine was made in the same week in which I ordered it, so I am pretty sure it was not a returned bag.

Can you tell me where to look for the date code. Thanks

I tracked my bag to see where it is today. Really surprised it's dispatched from a suburb near Paris (Chilly Marzan). Gives me hope that it is a Made in France bag and hopefully not a returned bag. So far with what I have read up. Following things we should examine for
-Glazing issues
-S lock off centered or slightly wonky
-Stiching around the back Zip area not complete or hanging loose
-Loop that holds the adjustable strap flat can fit a bit loose and not snug so then its not actually doing the purpose it's was designed for.
- monogram pattern off centered as kind poster upthread has highlighted on the strap
- slight worn canvas or holes appearing
- stitching around the sides of the bag where it's kind of pleated/folded,
make sure it's tight looks consistent and no loose threads.
- glazing spots on the bag
That's all the things I can kind of think of at the moment. Or came across of what to watch out for. Please post any other things ive missed that I should be wary of.

I received my PM Reverse yesterday and it is not quite love. After reading many threads of others issues/flaws on their PM, I inspected mine and found:

1) The monogram placement is a tiny bit off on one side (I can tell by the lineup with the edge of one side vs the other), plus the stitch going across the bottom of the back zipper pocket shows an uneven space between the zipper and the LV

2) Sealant is not completely smooth in 3 areas. On the positive side, they're not very rough, or large.

3) There is a tiny spot (or gap?) in the inside flap's reverse canvas. It's not a hole, but it's definitely not supposed to be there.

On the plus side, my strap seems perfect, fleur placement and sealant. I'm going to sit on it for a day, but it's most likely going back and I'm not sure I want to reorder another one. I've got too many other bags on my wishlist and this experience has left me underwhelmed.

Thanks for posting nekostar. When you say monogram is slightly off on one side. Is it where I've highlighted in red on your pic. It took me a while to notice. I'm wondering if your bag was mine, Screenshot_2017-01-14-13-59-08.jpg could I live with that. I'm not sure, but it's not a definate no either. I would have to live with it for a few days to see how I feel.

It´s a label in the back pocket on the right side.
Thank you. I have checked my reverse one over and can't find any issues. The only thing is another loose ring to secure the strap. I am not sending it back again for that. I can live with it. I notice the ring on my Venus bowling bag still slips to the bottom despite being tight.
I am just going to get on and enjoy using it now. Any future problems I am confident LV will sort them.

No issues on my Reverse either. Glazing looks great, etc. Only thing is the loop is slightly loose as a lot of people have reported. I don't care about that. If it starts to bug me either I'll ask LV what they can do or try a hack to make it a bit tighter. The bag is perfect, there's no way I'm sending it back just for that.

Yes, you spotted it. I mainly noticed where my finger is pointing. I agree with you that it could be such a minute thing (along with the placement of the canvas where the LV borders the zipper), but IMHO, I'm not sure I would be 100% satisfied with this bag in the long run, especially when I'm purchasing it directly from LV. I also thought about how the bag would look to someone else if I were to resell it and even brand new as is, I would need to disclose all of these flaws. Discussing it further with you just showed me that to me, it's too much. The PM is going back to an LV in the next couple of days, when I have the chance to go to the mall.
