So sorry to hear this, can you explain what you exactly mean by peeling canvas? On my pochette I also saw something that seemed to be some peeling, but in the end I was able to wipe it off. Now it looks ok. So it may just have been some residue.

Thanks everyone whos given me advice on the reverse PM and put my mind at ease. I've done the deed. Ordered the bag yipee! The eagle eyed hubby looked on the LV website early in the morning and hallelujah! It's available online to order. Not waiting for LV to call me (I'm on their wait list for it). Hopefully in 3-5 days I will be a proud owner of this beautiful bag. Will post pics when I get it. Sleepless nights but soooo excited :)

it ended up being residue that was all over the side of the bag! Was finally able to get it out so now its perfect :). I did notice that it tends to be a bit on the heavier side when its full so have to see if I can deal with the extra weight but I do love it!

IMG_1373.JPG IMG_1374.JPG Hi all! So I picked up my bag today and upon examination of the crossbody strap I noticed that some of the fleurs appear to be off center? Is this normal? I don't want to bring it back to the store if it is. The fleurs start off centered and then become a little off centered and then become centered again towards the end of the strap. The reverse side of the strap appears to be completely centered the whole way through. I also noticed that a speck of glaze seems to have gotten on the canvas.. anyone know if there's anyway to remove it myself?

Mine is the same way,the strap fleurs...can they all be like that? I don't think it's a defect.

I have noticed that the top handle of my PM is starting to get a nice patina (which I actually really like against the brown)... but the little bit of vachetta on the lock is lighter, probably because I don't touch it unlike the top handle. Is there a safe way to get the leather to patina gradually to get to the same colour the top handle? TIA

Same here. I also ordered the reverse PM today from the LV website. It also says "order in preparation". However, after reading a lot of people complained about the quality and flaws of the bag, I now started to wonder if I will end up receiving one of those returned bags that is defective? I will be picking the bag up from the store so for sure I will inspect very carefully before leaving the store. I would really appreciate if someone can give me a brief summary of what areas/items I should be aware during inspection!

Also what is the likelihood that I will be getting a reverse PM that is "Made in France"??

I ordered mine today too ( early morning) mine has already been despatched. UPS are delivering it. Have tracking number from UPS a text from them to say it will be here on Tuesday yippee. All in all pain free service so far. I'm hoping also not to get a defective bag in any shape or form. It's worrying. I'm OCD with symmetry and all that. I know it's impossible to get a perfectly made bag. Just hoping it's nothing huge that I would find hard to live with.
