Hi! Congrats!! I would probably keep mine . I really don't mind where it's made. It's just that i havent seen a lot of made in usa. But no one would know where it's made honestly! Unless, they look inside and ask. I love the bag and it's beautiful. You should keep yours :) eventually, a lot of people will have made in usa anyway heheheh

That is true! I debated about returning it and buying it from a seller online for $1800. Essentially the same price, brand new but MIF. However, there's always more security knowing that it came directly from LV. And like you said, who'd know unless they look at the tag! At the end of the day, as long as it's authentic and beautiful I don't think it matters where it was made :)) Congrats on your bag as well!!!

Guys, as I said before, wait month or two and there will be plenty of PM in LV stores...my SA in EU told me (and I double checked with another SA here in US) and I am sure there will be more MIF than now in US. If you can wait, wait. If not, go for it! I will definitely wait and ask my friend to buy it for me in EU, it is cheaper and it will be definitely MIF. There is always a way how to get the one you really want.

I'm not sure. I actually did look at older PMs online and didnt have that tag. And the vachetta that says louis vuitton paris didnt say where it is made. It might be something new, not quite sure. My mom bought a speedy a few days ago too and had the same made in usa tag inside, compared to my old speedy that didnt have that. I got mine from the LV store, and the SA says it is something new, and they might not be getting made in france. Since, it is very popular right now and they will start making them here in the US. I'm so confused! I dont know if I should keep the bag, but i love it so much that i dont mind where it is made. 😊 What are your suggestions? Keep or return?
There have been 3 versions of the PM. So, it can get confusing for those that weren't aware of that. I owned the first model and I think that was the best one. The canvas was thicker and sturdier and the details (the vachetta tab on the back zipper and the extra interior pocket) was the best. Sadly, that bag had glazing issues and LV couldn't repair mine so they gave me the newer one. It's just not the same especially for what the price is for it now.

I was able to find mine last week at the coral gables, fl boutique. MIF!!! And love the Jungle bandeau with it.

I just ordered a jungle bandeau to go with mine also! Great pick! ;)

Today I used one of my fave Hermes twillies with it. First time out with her too! Such a pretty bag! I can't believe I didn't have one before this year!

I need a need a Hermes Twilly also. All my Louis Vuitton bandeaus are much larger. They work, but with a little creativity lol. I bought the jungle one just for my Metis. But find that it works with all my LV bags beautiful.

I just got my PM!! Is there a trick to closing the S lock without pushing it really hard into the canvas? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ladies! :)
I used to have the original model and the canvas was much thicker and made closing the S lock so much easier to close. Now that I have the new model, I too find that closing the lock is challenging. I think it has to do with the canvas being softer. I always have to push in the lock with effort.
