I actually was able to get one online yesterday! It required a ton of refreshing and non-stop clicking tho... I'm ecstatic :D I'm really hoping that I'd get one that is either made in France or Italy! Seems like most are so far! I don't know if anyone has seen one that is made in USA?? Most of my LV bags are made in USA so it would be really nice to get one that is actually made in Europe!! Especially for a price close to 2K!!

Congrats!! From my understanding, all the pochette metis' were made in France, up until recently (past year) they started making them in Italy.

Oh my gosh that sounds so encouraging! Thank you for letting me know! :) It would be nice to have a piece that is made in Italy as I heard their craftmenship is behind superb! I've heard most of the LV's special pieces are produced there ;) I'm so excited for it!!!!!

I just got my PM and the date code is SD1196, according to that it seems to have been made last week? Does that seem right?

I got it directly from and LV store so I know it's authentic but am I reading the date code right?

i just got mine today, ordered it USA online last Friday. And was pleased to get an email that i can picked it up yesterday, but I couldn't because i was at work. I finally got it today, and so happy.. Mine says Made in USA tho. I've never seen any that is made in usa. What are your thoughts about this?

Would you mind taking a picture of the label? I've actually never heard of anyone getting one prior to this :( Although I've heard that they're starting to produce the PM in USA... I guess the wave has begun... I will be getting mine tomorrow but I won't be able to see it until Sat night. Hmmm if mine is made in USA then I might return it and just get a Chanel mini flap... I know the place of origin shouldn't matter but it would be nice to have one that is made in Europe!

it's been online periodically the last week or so, usually in the mornings. i leave for work at 5:30am pacific time and for like 3 days in a row at that time it allowed me to add it to the cart. i finally purchased one Tuesday and it shipped today. the gal on the phone said there is a 300+ person waitlist, but i didn't believe her. if 300 people are waiting, how did i get one so quick? i hope i like it. i bought the pallas bb too, so i'm only going to keep the one i like the best.

Here's a pic. I hope you can see it. I dont know what to do. Im not sure if i want to return it or not. I was hoping it was made in france, but the bag is so beautiful.
