I think your bag looks normal. Put your usual stuff inside the bag and then try keeping it upright.

I'm in a dilemma at the moment about my recently purchased pochette metis. After looking at other posts on this thread I'm wondering if my bag has some defects.

First of all, if you look at my photos, the middle compartment seems to be bulging out a bit more than what I've seen in other pochette metis bags. Is this normal or do you think it's sagging more than usual? I haven't even used this bag yet so it isn't from carrying anything heavy in the compartment. The bulge also makes it difficult to keep the bag upright.

Secondly, the S-lock cone on the R side seems to be even more detached from the main plate than the L side cone which makes it look uneven. Do you think these are valid considerations to return the bag? Any input would be much appreciated!

I thought the same thing about the shape, but put your heavier items in the center compartment and it'll sort itself out. Everything else looks normal.

I need your expert advice. I am planning to buy a preloved pochette metis. Should I buy the old version with the vachetta pull and extra inside pocket or the new version without it. What's the pros and cons of both? Any one had any bad experience with the old version? i don't understand why LV changed it to a new style? Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Got the call yesterday that my new PM was in! So excited, I missed this bag so much! I was told that the issues on this bag have been addressed on the "new" ones and that I shouldn't expect any peeling or glazing issues.

I dint have experience with both. Mine is the newer one. From what I read I'm glad I have this one because the canvas is softer. My canvas is so thick and soft it feels like squishy leather and yet can stand up and keep its shape.

Can someone tell me how it works? I want to see t in the store before I pay for it. Does LV take my credit card and charge it and then I decide if I want to keep it after viewing in person? I want to be able to see it when it comes in the store and then decide to actually buy it. The 800 number tells me I have to buy it first? When I call my local store they reroute calls to the 1-800 number. Do I go into the store in person to put my name on the list?

It was reassuring to hear that they are addressing quality issues. I was told that they stand by their products and that if I had any problems they would do the same for me and replace it.
