I posted this in another thread but thought I'd post here as well.

It's interesting to hear all of the comments on this bag. I had these concerns which is what kept me from buying the bag long ago because I have always admired it from afar. I finally bit the bullet and purchased because it makes a very good business travel bag that can transform from day to evening well - carrying a little more than the essentials. Not really much for wearing my bags cross body so the PM I will wear on my shoulder most likely with a different strap. I also do not intend to use as an every day bag. So I guess time will tell how it will wear. I expressed my concerns to my SA who assured me that if anything went wrong with the bag they would take care of me no matter what.

So with all that being said I really do not think the PM has quality issues I really think it is the make of the bag (nature of glazing) and intended uses. I also think the problems are hit or miss. So if considering buying this bag these things really should be taken into consideration as with a lot of LV bags. There are LV bags that are great for everyday and others that are not. Sad but that is the raw truth.

Also, they are being selective in who they send it to (ie high volume buyers get priority??) It was a polite conversation as we have found that being other than polite can sometimes work against you rather than in your favor. Is this SA's information really so or is this an online SA that was taking out of her hat?

I am in Canada as well and just put in an order for one. They said it would be about a month. I wouldn't believe her saying they are being selective :smile1:

Hi all sweeties, I just joined the pm club today cause I received my new pm just yesterday. However, I have an concern of the corner because they are not straight at all...like a bit wonky and for the whole bag are unevenness... It does makes me very worry and should I exchange it?? Any other girls have the same issue or do you girls think it is normal??

That's normal. There's others that have that including myself. I found that as I use it, it kind of gets worn in and becomes less noticeable.HTH

Hi there I also love the first model better!!! I had the new model of pm but it oddly shaped. I much prefer structured bag as well so thinking to get the first model. Any recommend website to purchase??? Thanks love

Thanks!! This brother me for the whole days cause when I ask the SA she said because it is hand made? So that's why every bag will be different. But I saw some of the video on YouTube their bag are quite structured, so that's why I wondering if I should exchange or not. But now should be fine I can take her out tmr!!:)

I know how you feel. I ordered one off the website and just got it last week. The bottom right corner is not at all like the left side. It's very annoying!! So, I ended up ordering another and I'm going to compare them. I've seen some of the YouTube's also. A few of them have returned their bags for the same reason. Unfortunately, I do think the abnormalities are normal with these bags. Sad but true. Maybe the original version was more aligned because they used stiffer canvas?? I don't know, but I hope I don't regret this purchase. There seems to be so many issues with it. :nuts::nuts:

So I switched to my PM today and I still love this bag!! I've had it since August and it's just such the perfect bag. No issues for me yet and it's definitely been used!

I was just thinking how great it would be to have this in empreinte noir, DE or DG. DG with silver hardware [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]... They really do need to make this bag in more options in all seriousness though.

I got my new-to-me PM a little over a week ago and I love it. Haven't changed out since I got it! I just went on a business trip to San Diego and it is a great travel bag. Small, but versatile. I also ordered the vachetta strap to use with it (I ordered the non-LV one for $80 because I didn't want to spend $300+ on a strap) and it looks so cute. I used the mono strap to travel with since I was afraid the vachetta strap would get dirty. The strap is lighter since the bag's date code is Dec. 2015, but hopefully it'll patina soon to look close enough in color.

Congrats! I do like the look of the vachetta strap a lot! It is much more comfortable too.
