I ordered online this morning. As someone else stated- I left the webpage up and just hit refresh now and then. I was half asleep this morning when I did and couldn't believe my eyes! Ordered it ASAP. I did this since last Friday. So 6 days of stalking. And I wasn't vigilant about it. Refreshed maybe 3 times a day.

Yay congrats! Thats what i did too. I saw it available 3xs on diff days.

There is currently 122 people on the waiting list for the Pochette Metis is the Sydney, Australia store. I just checked. Hopefully it doesn't take too long [emoji28]

It is crazy the amount of people waiting for this bag. Over hundreds in Vegas and online waiting! Crazy! That doesn't count all other states! At least my store only has 4 of us waiting!

With so many people on waiting lists, I wonder why the online system randomly let it be available to order? Should they satisfy waiting list first with any available bag?
Does not seem fair for the people on waiting lists.

It is not but the way they explained it to me (because I sure did call) - is that those bags are bags where someone lost their reservation by either a declined or incorrect card information. So they will put those bags up available. Not sure I actually believe that because CS does not always have reliable information. And honestly like you it did not make sense to me why the bag didn't go to the next person in line? Also in the store it doesn't quite work fair either so really like I said above its the luck of the draw I think! I'll be patient though. . . Yesterday morning they actually had about five available online.

It's like the lottery!! [emoji33]

I am not sure about other countries. But in Australia, each store is separate. Therefore, the shipment is assigned to each store separately. I guess online store will only show when there is no waiting in the online store. I put my name in the waiting list in Sydney store. I also put my name down for online store. I get my one from online store waiting list. I guess more people would like to see the bag in person before pay it.

I don't know anything about supply chain but here's my two cents anyway. Won't online stores have their own supply line separate from the stores? Sometimes stores are out of stock but there is stock online so it's not that if stores run out, the online stocks have to be depleted in order to fill the stores. I am assuming they each have their separate supply chains. It allows web customers to bypass the wait list and honestly I don't find anything wrong with that - they looked, they found it, they bought it.

This is exactly the explanation they gave me when I called a few days ago! It's luck of the draw for sure.

I bought one pre-loved a couple of days ago (date code Dec. 2015) and am supposed to get it today and I can't wait!

This is true for most companies, eCommerce is usually separate from physical stores. This sometimes means different sales and/or promotions, stock (i.e.: online exclusives), etc.

I tried not to want this bag. I ignored it. I passed on it even when I saw "add to cart" a couple of times. I bought a different bag that would be more practical. And yet, I kept stalking it, looking at this clubhouse, watching youtube videos. When I had a chance the other night to buy one pre-loved that was in perfect condition and MIF in Dec 2015, I bit the bullet. I got her today, all the way from Honolulu. She is small but a true beauty! LOVE!
