I tried not to want this bag. I ignored it. I passed on it even when I saw "add to cart" a couple of times. I bought a different bag that would be more practical. And yet, I kept stalking it, looking at this clubhouse, watching youtube videos. When I had a chance the other night to buy one pre-loved that was in perfect condition and MIF in Dec 2015, I bit the bullet. I got her today, all the way from Honolulu. She is small but a true beauty! LOVE!

I can't honestly believe all the buzz about this bag. I'm so happy I have one and enjoy using it but im in shock when I hear/read about people paying ridiculous amounts of $$$ for preloved, just to own one.
 
I am in Canada. My friend has been on the WL since March 13 with credit card number given . The SA online said they have no idea if there will be a bag available for everyone ordering one. Also, they are being selective in who they send it to (ie high volume buyers get priority??) It was a polite conversation as we have found that being other than polite can sometimes work against you rather than in your favor. Is this SA's information really so or is this an online SA that was taking out of her hat?

I don't know about Canada here US the bag pops up on the site for ordering in the morning quite a few days this week. They really are stating the wait time can be up to a month so your friend can wait for another couple of weeks possibly. In the states the statement that they are selling only to high volume buyers is simply not true. I really think a lot of the time customer service really should just say they do not know instead of trying to give someone an answer that they really are not sure of themselves. Yesterday when the bag was available online CS didn't even know it was. I think all the talk around this bag needs to be taken with a grain of salt because there is really no rhyme or reason as to how this bag is being distributed. They are popping up randomly in the stores and online. All I know from my SA is that they are working hard to get the bag in stock. Hope all who ordered get their bag soon.

I am in Canada too. I also gave my cc# and was told it will be charged when the bag is shipped. The CS person did say they will do a product request and that it would take about 4-6 weeks so I could call back in a month to check up on the status. I was able to place an online order for the bag a month later and called CS right away (I didn't want two bags charged on my cc in case the timeline overlapped). I was still at the bottom of the wait list at the time.
I don't think high volume customers have anything to do with this and I think it's better to ignore hearsay.
 
After reading this thread I became curious about the stock situation in Germany.
When I visited my local boutique yesterday, I asked for it.

I have to admit that I reserved it also in Oct last year and got the call that it arrived only 8 days after my reservation. But after some back and forth, I passed on it. Now I start to kind of regret it (your enthusiasm is contagious as always ;-)))

Now, there is a long waitlist in Germany, too. More than 100 and all fully pre-paid with a waiting time of approx. 2 -3 months. Crazy.
My impression was that the SAs are already kind of stressed by all these orders and not happy with the situation, too.

Anyhow, I hope that LV can catch up with the high demand and that you all will receive your dream bag soon.
