I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but it seems many of you have had experience on the waiting list for a PM. I have been on the list in Atlantic City, NJ for about a month now and I'm getting anxious (not in a bad way, just excited!). Is the waiting list store-by-store specific, or country- or world-wide? My SA, who is absolutely lovely, made it sound that it was country-wide but reading through the posts it seems store-specific? I was wondering if I could text her to check where I'm at but I don't want to be a pain in her side if she isn't able to check where I am.

Suddenly I've been wanting an Alma BB and I know as soon as I buy it, I'll come up next on the list! I only can usually afford one purse at a time (and plan very thoroughly) so if there is some way to tell if I'm coming up soon that would be fantastic! This is my first time ever on a waiting list for any bag at all, so I'm totally new to this process.

I'm from Australia, it looks like it's country wide, when stocks comes in the country it gets allocated to the store according to the list. That's what the SA in Australia told me. As I was consider putting myself on wait list of two stores but he told me it won't make a difference.

My story 🙄
Sales person took my order number & went to get the bag. He came out with the bag & asked me for my driving license or passport. Unfortunately I had neither on me. I had other photo ID but he wasn't having any of it. I asked could I see my bag he said no very rudely & walked off with the bag. Came back 5 minutes later saying im sorry you are not allowed to have this bag as you don't have a driving license or passport. I said to him I have my online bank statement my home address all other relevant details but nope! He said he didnt believe I was the person who had ordered it!! I asked to speak to management!!
Whilst waiting I called the lady who dealt with me @ client services she was apologetic & then asked to speak to the manager & explained that they should accept my other forms of ID. Both manager & sales person just scoffed very rude!
I did say Calmy that I do not plan to leave the store without my bag :-) I was made to feel very uncomfortable & all in all it wasn't a pleasant experience. I was just handed the bag & he walked off! I inspected it in store & left.
I understand it is LV policy but it never stated in the email I should bring only a passport or driving license.

I have had better customer service when buying a bar of chocolate at my local grocery store!!
On a happier not I love the bag [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]

You poor thing Malika that sounds awful, did you buy any chance take note of the names of the SA?
This is absolutely not acceptable and they obviously need retraining on manners and hospitality!
I would also write or call customer services and make it clear that if they do require such proof of identity then it must be stated on the email.........I have a funny feeling the SA may have wanted the bag for another customer and that's why he tried to fob you off[emoji52]

March
I intend to write an email
Tomorrow completely rude!! Oh when I took the bag out the manager said
Oh the pochette metis that is a popular bag I just ignored her! I didnt take any of their names damn it! :(
I dont get rude snobby sales assistants there is no need for rudeness full stop!! You are Probably right they were very hesitant on giving me my bag which I had already paid for!!! [emoji17][emoji17][emoji107]🏽

Hi guys,
So is this bag no longer being discontinued? Back in December I was told it was no longer being made. Then I happened to be on the LV site today and saw there was a price increase on it. So confusing :confused1:

Wow that's rude!! Glad you stood your ground and got your bag. LV policy does state that in store pick ups require govt issued ID but doesn't say passport or driver's license only. Was your ID government issued?

Geeze! That is very rude. I'm sorry your experience was super unpleasant. Yeah, definitely write to corporate about how you were treated.

Maybe you could call the store and ask for the manager's name, so as to not have to deal with them in person. At least you have one person that you can identify in your letter. Good luck!

Here she is!! I actually got the package on Tuesday, but have been quite busy that I didn't get to open her until today!

And she's MIF! I don't know why the upper left corner has a crease though, when it's sewed to the bag. Lol.

At first, it seemed the lock and the tab part especially when closed, looked crooked. I meticulously looked the bag over and everything else seems ok. But the tab part seems slightly off. I'm just looking at it based on the monogram patterns. Idk, I'm thinking of possibly returning her and getting another one. I know this will keep bugging me if it really is sewed crookedly.

Otherwise, I'm super happy to have a PM in my hands just a week from when I ordered her. I can't stop smelling her!! [emoji16]
