This happened to mine as well. It was a year and 8 months old when I brought it in last month. It is still out for repair - LV waived the repair fee.

Hello all…my Pochette Métis in empreinte noir is dull looking.
Do any of you moisturize the leather to make it look more shiny? This is my dream bag but I’ve been very underwhelmed since I got her a few months back. People said it would look less dull over time, but I don’t see any improvement in the look of the bag.

Any thoughts?

Hello, I can finally say I am a PM owner!! I have wanted one for a long time and I finally got the PM in noir empreinte! Just wanted to check though, am I crazy or is the alignment off on the front? I feel like the front flap is a little higher on one side. Is this normal? I’d really appreciate any input!

I’ve had mine for 6 months now and it doesn’t look dull at all. Looks like when I received her. I do use collonil gel conditioner but I haven’t on this bag yet. On their website I think they say something differently but it is leather so it just needs te conditioning sometimes. I’ve used collonil for years and have always loved the results. I also use them on leather shoes and use their waterstop spray.

I’ve tried to get this bag about 4 times over the past six months (ordered all online) and each one looked dull, so I know it’s not just a certain batch that looks this way.

Have you tried bringing it to the store? Just tell them you want your bag to have a little TLC. Maybe they will do it for free
For my Coach leather bags I have their conditioner and moisturizer.
All leather goods need a little TLC once in a while.

Thanks, that makes me feel better . I did visit the LV store but their repair specialist had just gone on holiday. I've got an appointment to go back on 31st August. Only issue is that its apparently a 14 week wait on repairs

With use it gets a nice shine.
