If you love the bag and it fits your needs perfectly, why not another color? It's gorgeous! I have the turtledove and have no issues.
Honestly, I think my consciousness is stopping me. I already have a black Gucci marmont (with GHW) and the other 2 PMs. I am afraid that if I also get the black empreine PM it would be excessive. I am trying to teach myself not to over-consume, but I keep wanting more and more and more. And I literally check the availability of the noir empreine on a daily basis. The struggle is real.
ETA: Also, since the pandemic started, I have only been working from home and my family and I have been quite risk-averse. We have literally not been to a restaurant or a cafe since February of 2020. We have not gone to a mall or travelled anywhere father than 2 hours away from our house for an outdoor day trip.
Given that I do not go anywhere, should I really drop $2.5K on a bag?!

Both of my PMs are from the newer models and so far I have not had any issues with them. Truth be told, however, I have not really worn them since the pandemic started. I have a Speedy B30 in DE and its hardware has badly tarnished (even though there are literally no other signs of wear and tear on the bag as I am super careful with my belongings in general). I contacted LV customer service and sent them photos and all they offered is to replace the hardware for a ridiculous amount of money ($60 per D ring, $60 per shoulder strap snap hooks, etc.). So, I am not pleased with their customer service thus far.

It's not nuts. "They're all different!"
I purchased my monogram in 2014 and frankly, I started to see glazing falling off the strap a year in. I brought it in and they gladly replaced it with a new strap. Fast forward to 2019, LV actually called me to tell me there is a recall on Metis. I wasn't sure which one, since I owned both Pochette Metis and Metis Hobo, I brought both in. They gave me a brand new PM. But with my Metis Hobo, the glazing literally melted all over the bag and they were not able to fix it. LV did give me store credit and I got a men's messenger bag with it.
There are definitely issues with that batch of bags, but I do feel comfortable purchasing more, given the amazing customer service.
That being said, I am also very in love with how functional Pochette Metis is. The strap, the top handle, the number of things it takes... I can use it formal or casual. I'm a function first, aesthetics second person, so it's won me over three times now.

I've been so ridiculous that I bring my purse back and forth between my room (on the second floor) to my home office (on the first floor) every day! I know I'll be back in the "normal" rhythm of life at some point (hopefully later this year!) and seeing how much the price has increased (and so quickly) on these very functional and gorgeous bags, I've convinced myself this is the right decision. I've also trying to rationalize by saying it's much less than the amount we would've spend on our annual family trips. Honestly, first world "problems".
Have you considered the red Empreinte? It looks SO gorgeous and it may be a bit more different from the other two and your Gucci. I've been tempted by the turtledove one too, but knowing myself, I'll be too nervous to use it at all.

honestly this probably helps your productivity since you “go to work” much like people getting dressed for work to work from home. Plus, you have a pretty to look at!
Having owned Pochette Métis (and Métis hobo) since they first come out, I LOVED the way it looks, how much it can carry, and generally functionality.
I ended up buying the black empreinte last January and returned it, because it would’ve been a waste to buy a new bag while SIP.
Fast forward ten months, I repurchased the black empreinte again (at a higher price!) and then I saw the blue Since 1854. It was love at first sight!
So it’s here this morning. Very denim looking. Interesting part is, the vachetta leather part is already darkened into this beautiful honey color.
It is a bit insane to get three of the “same” bag. But to quote my good friend (and enabler), “They are DIFFERENT!”
Still debating whether to keep or return. But most likely, keeping!

I think that's the beauty of PM; it works both ways!
I've carried it to a more formal work function with a black shift dress, but also wore it with shorts while traveling. The leather ones are obviously more serious and the monogram ones more playful. But the creamed color one you showed is lovely!

I commented above but as I am rethinking, I bought a lot of stuff this year. A lot. But at the same time, I tried to be mindful of what I have and add things to my collection that aren't similar in shape or color. That said, you mentioned you had a black Gucci so maybe the black empreinte isn't the one to add but maybe another color?
