I need some help please! My pm in monogram has just been delivered but I’m a bit concerned about the clasp - it seems to open ok sometimes and then other times needs a bit of jiggling around - is this normal? When it’s stuffed it’s hard to open but when it’s empty it’s easier. Has anyone else had the same issue?

Okay, time not to be so lazy and post some photos. Here’s the Pochette Accessoire, a wallet, and a small tissue pack. No bulging, no stress on the closure.Hi everyone, just an update. I finally received my Monogram PM from Fashionphile...I must be one of the lucky ones because the glazing and all that look great. No crookedness or weird stitching. Then again, I probably wouldn’t have been checking if I hadn’t spent the last week back on this site, lol. Anyway...
My original-style Pochette Accessoire fits perfectly inside the middle compartment of the Pochette Métis. For what I carry with me makeup-wise, downsizing to a smaller pouch would have been futile since I’d have put some of what goes inside it in the smaller slit-sized compartment in the PM.
The front pouch fits one of the LV wallets that snap in the front - I forget the name. I have it in Azur and it’s a nice contrast. With both the wallet and the Accessoire, the PM closes without bulging. I will probably only put flotsam and jetsam (receipts, etc) in the smallest compartment.
I guess I could decide not to be lazy and post a photo. Maybe I will later, but the cat just decided to sit on me.

I’ve just called client services as it was ordered online and she said it may get better with use or I can return it. I can’t see how it’s normal for it to stick like it does and I don’t see how it will get better. I don’t know what to do as I’ve wanted it for ages but I don’t want a faulty bag!
You should be happy with your bag. This bag is not cheap, you deserve to get the nice one. If I were you bring it to your nearest LV and talk to a manager and ask for a replacement. Return the defect one. Good luck dear.
I would definitely return it. For the price that we pay for designer pieces, they should be immaculate.
If you are not close to a store, perhaps record a video of you trying to open it and send it to LV customer care.
I purchased my PM Monogram Empreinte last year. On the edge of one side, the embossing was a little flat. Initially, CS said that that this was possibly normal due to the unique nature of each crafted bag but I wasn’t happy with it. I sent some more photos; QA department reviewed it and issued a replacement.
This is your bag, your money and you need to love it.

I would exchange it. I got one that was similar and thought that it would just get easier with time. It didn't, I had it for 3 months and took it in and they sent it off for repair. I'd just save yourself the time and get a different one.
Thank you for all of your advice. I’ve sent it back for a refund. I’ve decided I’m going to wait until later in the year when I can get to a store and buy one then so I can physically check it before buying it! I’m sad but it was the right thing to do

I just joined the PM club but with one that is not very common. It's the bicolour monogram empriente pm I think it's called. Do you guys think it looks too flashy? Also, do you think it will still look classy 10- 15 years down the line if I was to keep it? Thanks!

Having owned Pochette Métis (and Métis hobo) since they first come out, I LOVED the way it looks, how much it can carry, and generally functionality.
I ended up buying the black empreinte last January and returned it, because it would’ve been a waste to buy a new bag while SIP.
Fast forward ten months, I repurchased the black empreinte again (at a higher price!) and then I saw the blue Since 1854. It was love at first sight!
So it’s here this morning. Very denim looking. Interesting part is, the vachetta leather part is already darkened into this beautiful honey color.
It is a bit insane to get three of the “same” bag. But to quote my good friend (and enabler), “They are DIFFERENT!”
Still debating whether to keep or return. But most likely, keeping!

I‘m wearing most of the times dresses.. love the metis bag but never bought it because I wasn‘t sure if the bag looks too casual and sporty for me.

I just really love the style of the bag and it fits my needs perfectly.

I purchased my monogram in 2014 and frankly, I started to see glazing falling off the strap a year in. I brought it in and they gladly replaced it with a new strap. Fast forward to 2019, LV actually called me to tell me there is a recall on Metis. I wasn't sure which one, since I owned both Pochette Metis and Metis Hobo, I brought both in. They gave me a brand new PM. But with my Metis Hobo, the glazing literally melted all over the bag and they were not able to fix it. LV did give me store credit and I got a men's messenger bag with it.
There are definitely issues with that batch of bags, but I do feel comfortable purchasing more, given the amazing customer service.
That being said, I am also very in love with how functional Pochette Metis is. The strap, the top handle, the number of things it takes... I can use it formal or casual. I'm a function first, aesthetics second person, so it's won me over three times now.
