When I wear the original strap, it's always on the lowest drop setting and cross body. I like wearing the buckle on the front too. Enjoy your new bag, it's beautiful and goes with everything. I particularly love it with greys, dark blues/navy and red.

Hi guys, so I got my hands on a reverse pochette metis summer 2020 and didn't have an opportunity to wear it at all. Now that I've had time to sit for a couple months and look at the bag, I've decided I don't need this bag/won't get much use out of it. It's completely brand new, never been worn before but I have no idea where to sell it and get the best offer. I tried fashionphile and rebag/real real, and all got low prices ($1700ish). I'm scared to sell on mercari/poshmark because I've heard horror stories of people claiming that the bag is fake and sending back fake ones while keeping the real version.

I know the LV FB group is an option as well but idk how to facilitate that transaction either (do I have them pay me first, or risk them getting the bag and then paying me?). If anyone has any suggestions for me, I'd really really appreciate it!!!

Also know this is an extremely long shot, but would there be any way I could take it back to LV and get it exchanged for something else? It's literally never been worn before and still has the plastic on the clasp.

You should try wearing the bag at least once to see how it works for you. it’s a shame to sell it, I love this bag! Or try a different strap?

If you’re still set on selling, have you tried a consignment store near you? Or asking a friend if they’re interested?

Personally, I would get the mono since you already have the empriente. That's what I ended up doing, I have noir then got the reverse. I like having the versatility depending on my mood/outfit. I'm seriously considering adding mono as well, and if there's another empriente color that comes out that I love, I'd prob get another one of those too. It's my all time fav bag. I've found purse peace.

Hi everyone! So, i just received my online order of a brand new PM few days ago. I absolutely love it, but one thing that bothers me is that the monogram on the front part of the bag is not aligned! (see attached picture, i circled them) I am wondering if this is normal or should i just exchange it because it is defective?

In my experience with the PM, I think it is normal. And it wouldn't bother me. You might find one that has a slightly better alignment, but a bunch of other (worse) issues. I would keep this one.

Mine is also not perfectly aligned but i didn't even think to check it until I started looking at purseforum :biggrin:

Totally normal! I know how hard it is when you spend so much on something though. Sometimes we just need reassurance.

Finally joining the club! :biggrin:
I've always wanted the PM ever since it first came out in 2012 but never jumped on it when it was readily available! Then the bag became SUPER popular and NEVER ever available. A friend of mine convinced me to try looking for one TWO DAYS before the price increase... and here she is and MIF! Not that it matters much but for me I've wanted the PM from France.

Congrats! I was the same, pulled the trigger right before the latest price increase but had been looking at it since it came out. Enjoy!
