Can you upload photos of the bag in its entirety? Like front and back/sides?

Canvas will soften over time and I wouldn’t worry about the little dimple. The glazing doesn’t look unusual to me but it’s hard to tell without seeing a photo of the entire bag.

Just received my Pochette Metis. It is my first desinger bag and my first LV. First and foremost, I want to thank all the ladies here, for educating me on what to look for after receiving the bag. It is a blessing and a curse, because I was so nervous waiting for the bag

Lo and behold, I noticed some issues after I examined the bag. The alignment is amazing, but there is one corner in the back left side, where the glazing does not meet the canvas. Do you think the canvas is already cracking from there?

For me, this is the main issue. Other than that, there is a dent in the bottom, and not fully flat corners. But I don't know if thes issues will resolve in time as I use the bag.

I also don't know if it is normal for the back side of vachetta handle to be wrinkled like that, I mean, it can be, since it is curved. What do you ladies think?

LV asked me to send images so the experts can examine the bag (~sigh)

Sure, here they are! I see the problemmatic part from the side, very small but looks like the canvas is detaching...also feels quite rough to touch.

If it was otherwise fine then I'd keep it. That would get scratched up quite quickly when you start using it. It would could have been moving too much within the box....if it aligns to your liking and hasn't other issues I'd keep it.
Thanks for your input! I'm actually going to exchange for the mono. Not because of the zipper but I was expecting myself to have a "wow" feeling when I lifted the flap to the dustbag to look at the bag and that didn't happen! I asked the SA to look for the best mono for me. Crossing fingers it will be perfect. Thanks again!

I would return... This glazing is bad ...
Thank you for your responses!
Do you guys have experience with customer services? Is it typical that they ask for the photos of the bag? I want to exchange the bag, but due to Covid situation, LV stores in Belgium are taking customers by appointment only. The lady on the phone said I need to send pictures first and not try to resolve this in the store ...

If you are close to the store, I would try my luck and just go !

After I submitted the bag photos online, LV customer service returned back to me, asking if I want an exchange or a return. After shipping back the first PM, I received the new one today :panic:

I noticed that the new bag came with more transparent covers on the lock. It also has a barcode sticker and an info paper (about textile lining) which I did not receive with the first bag. I wonder the first one was already returned by somebody else...

Anyway, the new one looks great! Super happy now

I already have a PM in marine rouge. I want to get another and one and so torn with getting the mono or another empriente one. The price difference is €190 which is not much for a leather bag compared to canvas.

My problem is will i always want the mono version. Over time will the empriente keep better? I dont plan on ever selling my bags and hope to pass them onto my daughter in years to come.

I just bought a pochette metis reverse that I love but I am having trouble figuring out how to wear it. I am used to larger bags like the Neverfull that are secure on your shoulder because they are higher up and your arm holds it in place. I think I like the PM on the longest strap for cross body but it doesn't feel secure at that longer length when I wear it on my shoulder. Do you change the strap length when you wear it cross body versus on shoulder? Or do you wear it long on shoulder but just hold it in place with your hand? I am probably overthinking this but everyone says PM is so functional to wear and I am thrown off by the adjustable strap and how to use it. I also think it looks pretty good wearing it cross body at a shorter length but it seems from photos that most people wear it longer on hip and it also seems bulkier when it is shorter. TIA!

I have the bandoulière strap (mono/noir) and I almost always wear my PM reverse with it. It is shorter and sits a little higher cross body which I prefer. when worn over the shoulder, it’s perfect for me.
