I had the same thing with a made in France, now I have made in Italy one and it's much better. I know it's not to do with where it is made, but goes to show all those people that assume Made in France is always the best is not always the case..

Agreed - when I went and got my PM in the store recently, I had two bags in front of me for comparison. The MIF had some major issues that the MIU did not, like glazing imperfections, lack of symmetry with canvas in the front, and crookedness of the lock. I'm sure each of our experiences is different, but I simply look at the quality of each bag. I might consider it a plus if it's MIF, but definitely never a factor in whether to buy the bag or not.
I have PM mono made in Italy in 2018 and unfortunately i just discovered cracking in the canvas. The canvas is beautiful and I was hoping mine will be perfect forever, it is very dear to me because it has my birthday month and day as a date code so I don’t think I can ever take it to LV. Please keep checking the canvas on the flap where they bend. I used to check for the cracks on the folds in the pockets but mine has very faint cracks on the flap. My glazing is still perfect.

I didn't really get the hype of the PM and to be honest it wasn't even on my radar. I got an Azur Favorite MM and after using it once I decided that I didn't care for the magnet closure and it was a tiny bit too small. Plus I love love Azur, but I seem to like it from afar and prefer Mono for myself. I will never have a huge collection, so I want to have bags that I really love. I knew I wanted mono and cross body/shoulder bag so without ever seeing one in person I ordered one. All I had to do was wear it out once and it was love, haha! I get the hype now. What a fabulous bag

I really want a PM empreinte bag in the colour cream. Does anyone know or can advise if LV brings back colours its previously done?
I ordered 3 Reverse PM’s online. The first made in USA was a hot mess. The 2nd, also made in USA was better but lock was slightly crooked. Thought I’d try again & received a perfect made in Italy bag. The canvas is brighter & bag has no defects. So glad you found your perfect bag!
I missed on this bag last year and was asking my SA in December if she thinks LV will bring this color back. She said they usually do some lighter colors for spring. Last Spring they added Turtledove not cream so I was disappointed. My only option was looking on the preloved market. I bought my bag in June from Fashionphile which had a good price for empreinte but I am guessing you are outside of US so it may not be worth it to you. They had one there last time I checked.
Thanks for responding. I have the PM in the colour Dune which is similar to turtle dove but I still can't get the cream colour off my mind. Yes the lock can be fiddly to get in and out off but overall in comparison to all the other cream lv offerings I still want the PM as it ticks all my must have boxes.

Context: this is my third attempt with this bag. Previous two had issues (first had a big red glazing stain on the leather, second had scratched hardware). The glazing on this one bugs me because it looks carelessly done, but if I hadn’t run into the previous issues, I probably wouldn’t have noticed. What would you do?
