Lol, I am planning to bring it in one day after Pandemic is over. It actually matters where it is made for me because I don’t like US canvas.
Hi.. sorry to bother all of you again but when I was taking pictures of my bag last night, I noticed something that is bothering me .
On the right side, between the 2 flowers, there is a blurry line coming down. It is only visible at some angles, especially when the bag is laying flat.
What do you think this is?
You can see it in the first picture and it’s not visible in the second.
As much as I want to enjoy my bag, something or the other comes up, which is very frustrating..

I've had mine since 2018 I think, and the embossing is still great, no major signs of wear. I think empreinte leather is quite hardy! No cracks in glazing or leather on the flap (I don't bend the flap back all the way to see in). I think I have one small scuff on one of the bottom corners where I knocked it against something.
I finally found a reverse MIF but I feel like I should have bought it in empriente. I couldn’t decide!
It looks like it is just a grain in canvas that alines like that. It is invisible if you wouldn’t point it out but it is your money and if you are not happy with it, return it and keep trying, it is too expensive for it not to be in perfect condition. I am heartbroken because my PM mono has a white spot on the bottom and cracking in the canvas when the flap folds down. I have taken good care of this bag never pull the flap all the way back and I don’t understand how this could have happened. I love this bag so much and don’t want to give it up.
Hi.. yes you are absolutely right.. it seems like some grains in the canvas are the reason behind this shadow.. I’ve asked my SA if she can find me another that is Made in France, this was the only one in store that day.. but clearly, being made in France does not guarantee perfection..

My previous PM bags were-Mono 2013 - peeling glazing at one year
-Mono 2014 - peeling glazing & canvas cracking at three years
-Empreinte 2017 - so far, so good
-[Mono 2020 (received a few days ago) ... I thought all was pretty good, very different from the original, no longer has interior slip pocket or zipper pull leather piece. Bag is much softer than the original. But the problem is the canvas on the interior of the flap. It seems so stretched out or oversized that it bunches up when the bag is closed. It is visible from the outside as if something is protruding. Has anyone received a bag like this?

Mine is like that, too. Honestly, it doesn't bother me. This is the third PM I've had...the first one had terrible alignment so I exchanged it for another. The second bag I got had better alignment, but still not perfect. It also had some issues with the top handle where the little bits of leather that fastened the handle to the bag were stretching out and some uneven glazing, so I sold that bag and bought a third. The outside of the third bag is great...perfect alignment, the glazing is really nice, top handle is nice and sturdy. The only thing was the bulge inside the flap. The only way I can see it when the flap is closed is if I peek under the flap and I can see it...like you said, it looks like something is protruding. But it doesn't show on the outside of the flap, and that's all that matters to me. But if it bothers you I would exchange it. I am beginning to wonder if there is such a thing as a PM without any issues!
But when I close the bag, the hump folds into a hoizontal ridge, pushing against the exterior flap and doesn't look flat from the outside. It shows on mine. Like an uneven bulge.
I just got back from UPS. It went back. I don't know if I will get another one? Thinking it over. I also bought the Noe BB Azur & I'm keeping that one.

I have the PM in marine rouge this last month. Been using it every day. I love it and would honestly if i had the money would get it in every colour. Still looks brand new but i have only had it a month.
So I was kind of paranoid purchasing this bag due to all the issues but i finally got one. Now I’m not sure if these are issues or normal
the alignment on the left and right side of the bag is different from each other. Like where the strap clips on one side is not the same (crooked) Is that normal?
also the flap bunch, is that normal considering I don’t see many pictures on here with the bag opened.
