She’s here! The PM was not on my radar until recently. Lots more time on my hand quarantined at home to discover new bags. I started to learn about the PM, read the entire thread on tpf and was intrigued. Appreciated the ease of canvas and haven’t had a crossbody bag in ages. But nervous about all the quality issues. The night before the rumored price increase the bag was available online so I went for it! Worst case is that I could return it as this was a purchase sight unseen. She arrived today and is perfect to me - everything is lined up and even, MIF, no glazing issues, plastic stickers intact, etc. My Clemence wallet fits in the middle compartment. Will need to downsize my cosmetic bag but not a problem. (Now I need to figure out what other bag to let go...trying to keep my collection manageable!). Thanks for all the feedback and photos on this thread - it was very helpful!

I got a PM reverse and monogram online. Both MIU. I’m disappointed with the alignment. I know it is probably not a huge deal but when you see a good one (like the one above), I don’t want to get one that is less than what I consider good. 
I’m sorry to hear you haven’t been happy with your PMpurchases. I was honestly expecting defects and had low expectations. Was pleasantly surprised. Don’t give up - the right one will come. Got my pochette metis in tourterelle yesterday, brand new, made in France in week 24/20 I post 3 photos with different lights, it is really like a chameleon. Love it!!!

Hi everyone! Received my reverse pochette metis around a week ago and I have been worried about the quality since so many people complain. I have attached a few pictures - would love love love to hear your thoughts on alignment and glazing.
In the pic1 image, you can see how the glazing looks kind of "spikey" and when I run my thumb along it, it is not smooth which does not bother me, but I am scared to have issues in the future.
I also noticed a bulge on the left side and it feels like a bubble - when I press it, it goes down but then it pops right back up!

Hello! I've just joined the Pochette Metis club! I am new to the luxury handbag world and I recently acquired a Pochette Metis in empreinte leather. I was wondering if the way my bag looked was normal/typical for LV standards, particularly:
1) The D rings not matching- is anyone else's like mine?
2) The inside label is kinda crooked. Is it normal?
3) Is the alignment on the front okay?
4) The back zipper looks a bit scratched
Just curious what frequent LV customers think! You guys know better than me what LV standards are (what's normal vs. what's subpar for LV). I love the bag, just curious what your opinion is on these things! This is my first high end bag! I just don't want flaws to make it look like it's a fake when it's authentic (purchased at boutique in Bloomingdales), then again it seems like lots of authentic LV bags have issues/defects lol. I'm new to all this, lol. Mine was made 3rd week of 2020 according to the date code.

The alignment on the front is perfect and the embossing is deep. Keep it!
my PM glazing has this but the rest of the whole package is awesome. So, i keep her. Problem in the future? just call the CS or visit the store for reglazing
Thanks for your reply! Yes I plan to keep it! I took off the plastic protector on the hardware today! LOL! I just can't fret over tiny flaws anymore. I love the bag and want to enjoy it, LOL.. But it's easy to fall down the "Is this normal?" rabbit hole. Just had to ask about it because I was wondering if these types of variations were typical or something off all together. The D rings not matching is a little weird, but whatever lol.
