I would check warranty time with LV, but i think you just need to be well aware this bag comes with issues and it seems you’ve already experienced this with the bad glazing. To LV the glazing is obviously not an issue and passed their quality control because you have the bag!

First of all thx so much for taking so much time n efforts for my matters. I do appreciate it.

The 2 years warranty doesn’t always apply. Ie. Apple. Prob LV. I don’t know, gonna check with my SA. He is the new store manager.

But above all, not gonna keep this Reverse due to the cracking issue that would def come. I need a bag (in that price category) that lasts at least 20 years without major issues. This is my 12th LV sofar. My oldest is 19 years old n would survive another 20 years.

I think you’ve made a wise choice not to keep this bag, well at least this one! Many of us end up keeping items that are not up to scratch because we love them and they took so long to find! I’ve been guilty of the same in the past, but no more.

Have you thought of getting the metis in leather such as the empreinte? I believe this version has the best durability.

To the quality control.
I saw online someone getting a Métis Reverse with the LV Tag (on the lining part inside) up side down! N the pattern (logo n stuffs) are wrongly placed. I haven’t seen such a crap in my entire life. Yupe. Online order!
I will post here if I could find the pix again.

As I’m not that kind of person who does trifecta n so on. I got Speedys in Mono n DA. That’s already insane enough. So, Im not going to get PM in Mono and Impre. I ordered mono yesterday n waiting the delivery.☺️ If this one not perfect enough to my standard I’m gonna return it as well.

Not really. Well I’m still a bit confused like: is this bag worth the money? Speedy would never loose its value. So it’s okay to keep some in the wardrobe. So does other classic LV that existed >1990. Of course we have to buy what we think „cute or pretty“ but I can’t buy everything I find cute, otherwise I’m sleeping in a bad of bags. Lol So I need to be choosy. Plus I can always wear one bag at a time.
That’s why I’m doing this stupid game with stalking, ordering, waiting for the delivery, trying it on and returning or keeping it and so on. Ps. I don’t say stalking is stupid! I love it! But the whole process in general.

And still, it’s so time consuming you know. Esp with the worsening quality control.

I know it’s hard to resist those cute bags, but you have to think about how you’ll use them. I try to have a function for all my bags, especially the very expensive ones. Anyway post pics when the other metis arrives!

I wanted to get a new bag for work (a small reward for myself). I’ve been eyeing the pochette Métis since forever. I actually got an empreinte one previously but returned due to poor glazing. I decided I want an LV reverse monogram piece. I was surprised that I see it online from random browsing and I rarely browse the website because I prefer to get it through my SA. Hopefully it will be free of issues. If not, I might just return and get something from another brand. Anything that I should specifically pay attention to? Glazing, pattern alignment, flap alignment, stitching....what else? I honestly never really check my bag ever...doesn’t matter if it is LV, Chanel, Hermes....this purchase is slightly increasing my anxiety.

I can’t imagine that the bag left the factory like that. I’m not talking about quality control. The inner pocket? Hm... I guess we should indeed now talk about quality control. I have the PM reverse, arrived 3 d ago n the pockets are great. I‘d just prefer other material n color.

I have and will keep an eye on the usual issues.

Another quick question: who exactly designed the pochette Métis? I assume Marc Jacobs since it was introduced in 2012.
