Hey guys! I’m wondering how people manage to take good photos of the date code on the Pochette Metis, since it’s in such a hard to see/hard to reach spot? Is it possible to stick the lining on that back pocket out to take a photo and then stick it back in? Sorry if the questions are silly, I’m a newbie to LV

Yes, that is exactly the way how to do it. Hopefully they still make it the same way, so you can carefully pull the fabric with the date code out.

I got a Pochette Metis back in March and was so, so confused as to how to even peek at the date code - it's so far in there! Wouldn't have thought to look at it this way on my own, so I'm glad you asked!

Ah thanks for the info! I just tried it and my bag’s back pocket lining can’t be pulled out... I have a preloved 2018 Made in USA version and the lining in my front pockets can all be pulled out, but the lining on my back pocket where the serial code is seems to be stitched into the sides (but not on the bottom) so I can’t pull it out. Is this normal? Now I’m even questioning if I somehow unknowingly purchased a fake :confused1:

Hi everyone! New to the purse forum and this is my first post so hopefully I'm doing this right lol.

Just received my brand new Pochette Metis that I purchased online a few days ago and upon opening it I noticed a small mark on the handle (see photos showing the mark in different lighting - the mark is under the L where the stamp is). I tried to clean the mark slightly with an alcohol free baby wipe but it just made the mark more visible when wet, now that it's dry it's back to how it looked before.

Is this a "normal" type of mark that is naturally occurring or should I call LV and let them know the situation? This is my first LV bag so I was wondering if it's even worth letting them know, and if this type of mark will fade over time as the patina process begins. Any help would be super appreciated!!

Unfortunately, I think that smudge would bother me. I would call customer service to see if there is a way to remove it. For a $2k+ bag, I would expect the vachetta to be clean. Hopefully this can be fixed or replaced soon so you can enjoy your new PM!

I picked up my Mono PM this morning after enquiring about the bag via the phone line a month or so ago and being told the wait list was closed. They took my details anyway and I got a call last Monday to say one was available! Mine was made in week 16 of 2020 in France. Apparently the availability is thanks to COVID 19 as there are fewer tourists and locals wanting to buy high end products.

I am officially hooked, and thinking of buying it in every colour! Now I’m just trying to decide if I want to wrap the handle with a bandeau

Thanks for your reply! Just called LV and they recommended I return, sucks because none are available right now so I'll definitely be waiting a while  Will be shipping to the store so I can inspect the new one thoroughly before buying.

I've had a 2018 and couldn't pull the lining out but the newest 2010 I was able to

I was in the hunt for a small bag for spring, and was bent on buying a Cherrywood PM. Went to two LV stores yesterday and both stores didn't have the Cherrywood PM on stock. I have to wait 2 weeks if I wanted to place an order. Being the impatient person that I am, I knew I couldn't wait that long (haha). So I scoured the store and saw this beauty. It was love at first sight! Couldn't be happier with this (I was like, "why was I even interested in Cherrywood PM?" haha)

What color is this one?

Do it! I just bought one in the Mono, Reverse, Cherry Berry and Freesia. I keep wanting to get Noir, but it's always available :) I added a bandeau recently and it completely changed the feel- WOW! This is my favorite bag!!!
