Well I've decided I do not like the new version of the Pochette Metis at all.. I wish I didn't sell my older one to buy the new one 
In comparison the colour looks so faded and the canvas texture rough. I'm glad I could sell it and get my money back. I know most won't be bothered or won't know any different, it's just my own opinion. I love the style it's a shame. Maybe I may get one in Empreinte not sure

And yes it is really hard to say no to lambskin since they are so beautiful, however for everyday, definitely no. Unless you're okay with the "worn" which im not a big fan of

I know exactly what you mean. I ordered 3 of them this year, because the first two had some defects. They were all three from France, with completely different types of canvas (color and structure). The last one that I kept has this nice souple normal coloured canvas....so they are out there.... But I can also really really recommend the empreinte

Edited* I just noticed that the old version of pochette metis (bought mine in may 2019) has 7 holes and the new version has 5 holes
