Hi all!!

I’ve been dreaming of a pochette felicie but I had to return 3 times now due to messy glazing and stitching sigh.

I have a question for those who own this. Are your sides completely straight and smooth? My latest one has a little curve on both sides and I don’t know if that is common or not. The buttons are also scratched but I honestly was going to look past that as long as the curves on the side were normal. I am not trying to be annoying sorry in advance! A lot of the pics I am seeing have straight sides. Just looking for guidance! Thank y’all for your help!

IMO, your bag looks normal and looks like the stock pictures on the website. https://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/products/felicie-pochette-monogram-010578https://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/products/felicie-pochette-monogram-010578

I am unsure what is meant by straight sides but the structure of this bag calls for rounded sides. Also, your Felicie looks like mine. If you’re okay with the button being scratched, then keep it.

I posted pictures of my Epi Felicie just a few posts back, if you want to compare. Looking at mine (specifically in person), the sides look straight. I wonder if maybe the material has something to do with it. Maybe the canvas is more susceptible to curving a bit. I don't think what I'm seeing in your pictures would bother me much. But I'm the type of person that if something is bothering me, I would return it, because I would focus on it all the time and it would drive me crazy.
It regard to the button, mine was ever so slightly scuffed, but all of the items I looked at with similar buttons weren't perfect. Unless it's a heavy gouge or deeper scratch, it doesn't bother me.

Yeah there’s no need for all that! I know the bag curves and goes up but what I was trying to ask about was the curved area. The left (looking at the purse straight on) looked like it curved out a little more than right so I wanted to ask about it. A person replied above and said hers looks like the sides are straight so I’m not that crazy for asking. It’s all good if you don’t see it!

They all curve! I see it but it’s supposed to curve

I never thought my first post on here would be about an impulse buy (I always think long and hard before I make a purchase) but here's my new Felicie I bought yesterday! This is in the color Galet. I think it's such a unique color and it's different from anything I have. I almost went for my usual black, but this color just really excited me! The first picture is in natural light by a window and the second is in indoor lighting.

@mgrant You made a great choice with the color, I really adore it! Sometimes a quick decision is the best because it reveals what your heart really wants. Although I am a think-it-through for days and weeks girl normally as well...

I would have two questions, if you would be so kind, as I am thinking about buying a Félicie once these difficult times are hopefully over and I am trying to make up my mind between the Monogram Canvas and the Epi Galet:

1. Would you think that the Epi Galet could look good with a Mono strap? I own one for my Speedy B 25 and my Pochette Accessoires and would be thrilled about switching it between all my bags (just like I am planning on using the Félicie chain on the PA). But I am also thinking about a non-mono piece to add to my collection next.

2. What material is the inside of your Félicie? On the website it almost looks like the (utterly soft!) inside of the NéoNoés but the description states „fabric“ with all the Félicies. I once saw a Damier Azur one in store and its lining was simple cotton canvas. I was just wondering because I love the super-soft inside of the NéoNoé!

Thank you so much in advance for your help and info!

Hi there! To answer your questions:

1. I personally don't think that a mono strap would look good on a Galet Felicie. The Galet is such a soft color, and I feel like the monogram colors would clash and look heavy against the bag if that makes sense.

2. The inside of the Epi Felicie is that super soft micro-fiber lining (resembles the feeling of suede). My empreinte Twice has the same type of lining and I love it, so I was excited to see that this one has it too. I think the canvas versions are the only ones that have the cotton-type lining.

I chose the Epi leather because I wanted something that could be used for dressier occasions as well as casual. I think the monogram is more suited for just casual use. But that's only my personal preference, and you should choose whatever makes you the happiest, and use it however you want! I hope this helps at all, and I'll be interested to hear what you ultimately choose!

Dear @mgrant , thank you so much for your response! It is very helpful and I totally understand your point about the „clashing“ of the colors as well as the fact that the monogram is maybe less suitable for very dressy occasions. Which is deifinitely what I am looking for in the Félicie as my PA in Mono with a crissbody strap works great as a small day bag already.

So I am very much leaning towards the Galet, especially as I really love the super soft microfibre lining.

As I haven‘t yet had the chance to see the Galet in store, I will of course ultimately decide once I see the color in person but then I will definitely let you know which one I chose.

Thanks again for your help and all the best to you during these difficult times!
