I have re-arranged the charms on my bracelet which now gives me some room on both ends to allow a safety chain. I also took off all of the charms and tried a few different options yesterday and got 2 options for a kind - of - I - quite - like look:

1. When withiout a safety chain, my bracelet just looks like below pictures;
2. When with a safety chain, I will then take off two charms from the middle section - the pink cz one and the black & clear cz one. Then move a couple of two tone charms down to the section. Then my bracelet should be able to accommodate the safetychain quite comfortably and most importantly the whole bracelet won't look too jamed.

With the above two options, I should have two different looks with one bracelet. What do you think my friends?

Which is the black and clear charm? You should definitely go for a safety chain.

That is the kind of two tone safety chain I like as it matechs the theme of my bracelet which is heart and flower perfectly!
Do you like the look of the safety chain on my bracelet, after having a close up look are you less worried about the safety chain breaking your bracelet? I have had a safety chain since I started 8 years ago and have never encountered a problem.x

That's what I would do, second option with a safety chain. There will be plenty of room.

It is the cz sparkly one next to the spacer down at the bottom of the bracelet. I don't its proper name so just called it black & clear cz charm :).

Yep, I do. And I think I am going to go to Pandora to try one on. Whatever, I do like the idea of putting a safety chain on. Just like the look of it.:smile1:

The last one was too long and is now archived. For reference you can find it here.

A few key reminders:

-This is for PANDORA only, it's not a general chat thread, we have one for the Jewelry Box already.

-you CANNOT buy/sell/trade here or via PM

-do not post what you are interested in selling - this is advertising

-do not ask for members to get pieces for you

I had a lot of complaints about subtle advertising in the last thread - or flat out clear advertising! That IS NOT allowed and you could be banned for this. Also, advertising your friends auctions is complained about. . . people know this is happening and it's actually counterproductive, makes them deliberately NOT buy because it's irritating to see people promoting their friends only.
Looks like the data in previous tread has been moved from Disk to your Tape storage in your datacentre. If you need more advice on IT Storage solutions, feel free to contact me.

Option 3 can be that I take off the clips completely then add a safety chain, which should still allow me room without needing to take off any charms.

I think you need the clips. With the clips, the charms go on the threads and it's a bit of a nightmare. If it gets stuck there and you twist hard to pull it off, the thread may come loose from the bracelet.

What are your thoughts after all the feedback you have got from different people?

Ah, you mean the clear primrose path charm? It has a bit of oxidisation in it. I have the same charm. It's just in my jewellery box cos' I find it a bit boring after all these years.

To be honest I still think you should take off the love, hope and faith charm from your bracelet and put it on a necklace. If you don't mind me saying, when you take off the pink charm for your safety chain, it will kind of look out of place.

Thanks for the tip. I think no matter how I will re-arrange the bracelet, I am going to buy a two tone heart safety chain. I may have to learn how to use it properly and won'c casue any damages to the thread, but I just cannot resist the lovely heart safety chain. Thank you so muh for your help.:smile1:

yep, that is the one. I didn't know its name before though. It was one of my first Pandoras, and I didn't have a clue how I should build my bracelet, and what theme I liked etc. then, so randomly picked it. Soon after, I realised that I liked the two tone look after watching a short Paondora video on Youtube where a young lady was showing her two tone bracelet. Then I realised that Yes, two tone is what I want. So I've been collecting nothing but two tone charms since then. But the clear primrose was already with me, and it sparkles nicely under spotlight, so I haven't retired it.:smile1:

I would go with option 2. Don't take the clips off! You need those. You'll still have room to add another charm if you take off the showstopper and primrose path. If it was mine, I would also move the key to my heart into the middle and take off the faith pendant. :smile1:

I can't wait to see the final look with your bracelet. The best part about Pandora your ability to personalize jewelry to make it all your own! Same bracelets--different looks.

I spent some time yesterday looking at pics of what my bracelets used to look like and seeing how much they have changed over the years. Tastes change and things you once loved you now prefer in your jewelry box!
