Here's a question: What was your first bead? Does it have a story?

My first bead was the old, retired, simple fish bead. I love love love that bead. The simplicity drew me to it, but the reason I got it was because the bead I really wanted was sold out when I got my bracelet! I really wanted the apple with the gold worm, but I had to wait for that one.

For a very long time, my bracelet only had the simple fish, the apple with the worm, and the strawberry. The best part is that after all of the years of collecting Pandora (11 years in February), those beads are still in the rotation on the same bracelet!

Great question, GiveMeGold!
I bought my first bracelet for myself with 2 charms: the jack-o-lantern and the two-tone seashell. I chose the seashell to commemorate a fantastic family vacation I had just returned from on the Maine coast. And, the silver & gold combo really grabbed me!

I chose the jack-o-lantern because I was living in Keene, NH, which has held the world record for most lit jack-o-lanterns in one place! It was an annual event called Pumpkinfest, and was Keene's claim to fame! (That, and the filming of Jumanji. Lol!)

Hi there girlies! Anyone happens to know whether the Pandora charms are cheaper in Hong Kong or Singapore? Thank a million! :smile1:
My guess is that's it probably the same price. Probably slightly cheaper in HK. Perhaps you could buy online and have it delivered. You would probably need to buy a few to make it worth your while.

Hi, I bought my first bracelet. At the time I bought five charms: the pineapple, friendly florets, love knot and the candy pink stripe and light blue stripe. That bracelet has been added to over the years to reflect a pink/blue/purple theme with both captivating purple and blue muranos, two tones, and twilight kiss spacers.

I lost the floret from constantly taking them on and off . I think the cat batted it under the baseboard so now I just theme my bracelets and keep them intact. It means I have lots of duplicates such as the puffy hearts, nostalgia, oval lights, kiss spacers and others that provide glam, sparkle, balance or whatever I'm looking for (a little OCD happening there!).

I love the murano beads; they are IMHO what initially catch your eye with a Pandora bracelet. And although I like to keep my bracelets in a colour theme one of the most gorgeous bracelets I ever saw was one with all muranos and gold spacers that looked like a tropical buffet of exotic fruit, absolutely stunning especially in the summer wearing all white.

So now I have animal themed bracelets with the animal print muranos; seaside/travel bracelets with blue effervescence/aqua green swirls and turquoise looking glass; nature bracelets with purple/green/pink muranos in ladybugs, flowers etc. I am currently working on a LV themed-bracelet using captivating amber muranos, gold spacers and black oval lights and life's rhythm charms. I am having trouble with this one since Pandora chose to retire the murano before I got them all.

If I could figure out how to upload pictures (I am technically challenged) I would.

Bought three first off

Caged bird because thats how i felt
Cupcake because i had a lovely lemon one from Ottolenghi in Ledbury Road on my 50th (when i started the bracelet)
The one that looks like a Russian Wedding ring because i wear one and it sat above the finger its on.

During my brain surgery recovery in hospital in 2008, I saw an ad for Pandora in a magazine and fell in love. It wasn't until March of 2013 when I got my first charm. It was the Pandora's box. I flipped when I saw it! I wear a heart necklace and bracelet every day, which is my signature jewelry, so I just had to have it. This is the charm that started my lovely addiction! :D

I do hope you post pictures, these sound absolutely delectible! I see a lot of ladies have good luck with uploading them first to Photobucket, then copying the address into your reply..

Your bracelet size is perfect for your wrist. I think a full bracelet with 3 muranos would be a better fit but if you have 4 muranos, it may feel like a close fit. Therefore you can either wear it a bit tighter than you like, take one murano off or go up a bracelet size. My bracelet is 3cm bigger than my wrist also. I wear it full with 3 muranos and it's still a nice loose fit. It depends how you like your bracelet to fit.

my first Pandora charm was even before I had bought a Pandora bracelet! I was wearing it on my Troll. I had bought the smiling/buddha charm in San Francisco with my sister, who also bought the same charm. We bought it to commemorate my sister's first visit out to see me on the West Coast :)
It is still my favorite Pandora charm :)
