Well that depends. I could also see ladies mucking about and the intial comments made me smile, but I can see how someone owning or liking those charms could get offended, regardless of it was intentional or not. It's good to know when to stop and this is a good lesson for us all.

In your heart of hearts, would you be totally indifferent if someone was blatantly disliking your charms to that extent? I can't remember who, but someone did comment that an OP who owns these is bound to show up and that it would be ackward, so there was an awareness of naughtiness.

Missydora, please now don't be the one who takes things too seriously. We are all allowed to have an opinion, to discuss, to share, to learn, so need to leave as clearly no one wants you to. Unless you feel offended? I hope not. Your comments made us all smile, perhaps the joke went a little bit far but life goes on, or as they say, don't sweat the small stuff! Anyway, you can't leave us when you have all those goodies on the way! ;)

P.S. I hope you are reading this.
I think she feels more embarrassed that she has offended someone more than anything else. There are many different people with different cultures and sometimes people do get offended I guess. Missydora should just come back.

Sneaked a look at the Valentines charms in work today, I'm not a big fan of hearts but there were a few lovely ones! I especially liked the little book that opens up and has cute text inside and the box that opens up to reveal a ring (don't know the names sorry!).

Yes, that's what I was saying in my original comment. The one you quoted was a reply to Tabitha.
I think the subject needs to be dropped now though. :smile1:

I don't like the Pandora wishbone charm but personally have nothing against wishbone jewellery because of what it represents.

Also, the pretzel is meant to be one of those country charms, though they would have done better with the Brandenburg gate for Germany instead of a pretzel!

I have been considering the wishbone, it reminds me of my sister and I breaking one on Thanksgiving. I was thinking the pretzel was for NYC or Philly with their delicious warm soft pretzels!

Mandora! :smile1: Today I left the house without my bracelet because I currently feel encouraged to make this year a much much better one lol, so that can mean new memories and hopefully my camel charm :balloon: I just feel like getting the sea glass murano because I have a french saying stuck in my head, "ce n'est pas la mer à boire", which literally translates to "it's not like you're gonna have to drink the whole sea", meaning that (something) is not that big of a deal, and mer is sea so it kinda matches the sea glass..I think. I'd wear it on a plain black leather. Do you think it'd look nice?
