I ordered from Elisa Ilana in December, and last week from Mall of America. I'm quite surprised about the tax thing. How come there is no tax? I thought we were supposed to pay taxes depending on the State we live in?

A retailer is required to collect sales tax only if they have a physical presence in the state. I believe the Pandora Mall of America store is independently owned and run, its not owned by Pandora which operates stores in our state, hence no sales tax.

For instance, Nordstrom Online never charged Wisconsin customers sales tax because until recently there was no Nordstrom's in the state. They've since opened up a Nordstrom Rack, so now Nordstrom Online charges sales tax here.

I'm really confused.. I've decided that I want to buy the zodiac dangly pig charm, I nearly bought it before and now I wish that I did. It's retired and you can't buy it on the pandora website yet they have it on the eStore. How does that work? What's the difference between the eStore and the website? Should they not sell the same stock? Sorry if this is really obvious but I googled it and nothing came up :(

I don't know what the difference is but I am guessing they still have it in stock on the estore however because it's discontinued they have taken it off the website.

Oh also, does anyone know when the next lot of disney charms will be released? I wanted the Minnie and Mickey hats ever since i found out about the disney collection, gutted that they're parks only. My friend is going to New York in march and said she would get me any which I want (I'm im the uk so this is my only chance for a while).. Im looking at getting the Mickey and Minnie headbands instead, and the carriage and apple, but I don't know if they'll be out in time.. Do you know when release dates will be confirmed?

I have questioned the authenticity of the Ozzie site just because the prices are so low but many on this site say they are genuine. A few others that sell genuine Pandora are JewelFirst and UnforgettableMemories in the UK, although their stock seems to be diminished and pandorastore.be in Belgium. The Belgian store has quite a few retired charms in their Outlet store right now including the palm tree and coconut charm and the divine seaside Kiss with genuine blue topaz. Sometimes when you are on eBay trolling the charms check the sellers name to see if it is a brick and mortar jewelry store selling online. Their offerings can be considered genuine especially when they are selling high priced jewelry from other lines such as David Virtue, Lagos or David Yurman. In Canada there is a store in British Columbia called Charm Junction that also sells retired charms. I have bought quite a few from them. The only issues I have sometimes is that the prices become outrageously high the rarer the charm becomes so you have to be quick.

Yes that was the same reason I was thinking it wasn't genuine, just because it was so low. Thanks for the other sites:cool:
