It can be fun all this deciding and using creativity but can also be frustrating at times. I have to create loads of mood boards for interiors with up and coming stuff for company I work for, then have to decide which is best to go forward so much analysing etc sometimes its wow this is it. At other times it umm maybe stay up all night getting it right. Just like this addiction with pandora..
Missy, what do you do for a living? It sounds like you have a cool job. I am intrigued...

Are the chinese new year charms available in the US? I don't want to make a special trip over to Pandora and find out they don't sell them. I wasn't able to see them on my pandora app.

I'm more concerned with losing my charms since the bracelets are relatively easy to replace but not the charms since many are retired.

A couple of years ago I was grocery shopping and I don't know what happened but my bracelet got caught on the cart's handle and snapped off so all the charms in the first section went rolling all over the place and I pretty well freaked out! I had about 4 people crawling around on their hands and knees looking for them. I got all of them back thank goodness but the bracelet was finished.

I took it back to the jewellers and they said they would sent it to Pandora (I keep all my receipts for insurance purposes) to see if it could be fixed but I ended up getting a new one. And even if I'd had a safety chain on, I still would have lost the charms just because of where it broke. So pretty lucky, all in all.
Yeah that what I was thinking that if a section of it broke the clip would stop some charms from falling off but one section would inevitably get it.

What I've noticed in this spring collection is that there aren't any two tones, and there are too many butterflies. For me personally I think the designers need to work harder. The muranos to me are getting thin and ugly. They look too much like the chamila style, and I hate it. They're changing their style to look cheaper, I agree with that. I love the older charms, to me they look like the designers put a lot of thought into them. Hopefully the summer collection is better. And have more two tones
I think Pandora is trying to appeal to a broader audience, so they are introducing designs that appeal to a younger clientele. If kids keep bugging there parents to buy them things they are more likely to do it if the designs appeal to a younger base.

Personally, I am always trolling websites looking for older or retired charms because they had an elegance to them which is slowly disappearing. Also, have you noticed that the colour of the silver has changed somewhat? Now it can have a bluish cast to it that did not exist before. The SA keep telling me it's the oxidation but these are charms that aren't oxidized.

The pretzel charm makes me think "what the hell?" Whys would anyone want a pretzel charm? I love pretzels but I wouldn't want to wear one. I don't like the bells (xmas charm either). My friend has it and it sits so weird on her necklace.

Have you seen the US version of The Office? Stanley is obsessed with Pretzel Day, and whenever I see the dangly salty pretzel charm I think only Stanley would wear that! Lol!

I think you're right about the colour of the charms! I bought the Xmas bow recently and it's definitely a different "shade" of silver? Not because it was new - all of my other charms are polished up too.

And all you ladies are right about the pretzel - maybe it's because I'm British that I don't get it. (why not just make a hotdog charm while they're at it!)

Yeah or a big mac or KFC box charm!

I've not bought any new style charms lately but when the lucky cat came out I got that and I noticed that the silver was a darker shade of silver. I prefer the normal silver not the type that has a tinge or is darker.
