Along the lines of retiring beads there is no real rhyme or reason with pricing. Pandora doesn't allow any change with current beads but as for retired ones it is pretty much up to store/shop owners as to what they charge. I have seen beads on one website for regular cost and the exact bead on another for double the original price. The rarer something is the more it can cost. I know where I work the owner is raising the price of anything retired but not astronomically like on pancharmbracelets. She sometimes more than doubles it! Also if you have a new catalog, if there is a bead not in it that was in before then that means it is now retired.

Well ladies, I am currently back in port in Southampton. While I was in Bruge there was a department store that was an official retailer. They didn't have the cupcake or the perfume bottle charms so I settled for two of the swirl clips & hubby bought me the ghost charm.I decided to go back a little later & bought the silver heart shaped lock & gold key charm. :) They also had one of the retired Chinese symbol charms & the eight ball charm for €22 each! Hard to resist but had to hold back my spending!

Cool, Aprilshack! Can't wait to see the pics! Which clips are they? I am trying to decide (for next year) which ones to get for my 2 tone bracelet. I think it would be OK to get silver ones with gemstones, as I'm not too keen on the silver and gold clips.:smile1:

I don't see why not, it would look even better if you do have some two tone beads you are planning to buy for the bracelet. They may release some two tone clips by the time next year comes around that you like!

have just purchased my 3rd bracelet!!! i promised myself i would only have the one but oh well!!! here is my two bracelets, the grey double was bought for my graduating was a nice wee surprise.

I got into Pandora for the oxidized and mixed metals with black look. (like Pandora 15's profile pic) It works for me, because I've always worn a lot of black (no, I'm not goth) Is it just me, or for the past year or so, does Pandora seem to be moving away from the mixed metal oxidized beads? I was thinking because the black zig zag and the rose bouquet are being retired.

For me today, the perfect is the enemy of the done. I dropped $300 on beads yesterday, and still don't consider my two bracelets 'perfect'. Trying to do an oxidized with black/gold, it's getting there. More beads on order.

One thing I forgot to mention that I saw in Bruge was the pandora watches.I thought all that were coming out were proper size watches with interchangeable bezels.I saw these tiny little watch faces, about a couple of cm or so in diameter that you could wear with the beads.I think they were called moments in time.Kinda cute but I didn't see how much they were.

My first Pandora purchases!!B'day gifts for me and my BF, his B'day just one day after me. We've been together for six years, but I hardly gave him any accessories for gifts. So this year I intended to make a pair bracelets for us:blushing:. The double leather bracelet is for him, got our initials on it, and the single leather one is for me, the seahorse charm is one of our stories:smile1:. I think the addiction may start from here:yahoo:.
