Thanks charmfan! When I first started I thought I would get a couple of charm each month...but turned out I got a couple every week...haha! I will probably add two more, one on each side next to the safety chain. Your bracelet is beautiful too!

I love VCA! Their jewelries are really unique!

I agree, I think you have a bit more room for two more. Have fun :D

Hi. I am new to this forum. I just had to join when I realised I'd found a bunch of Pandora passionate people all in one place!

I have just started my first necklace because my hubby wanted to give me something special for our anniversary. Its started off a real obsession!

Here it is ...

Along these "O" rings line: Once I was in my shop and I expressed my dislike of the beads sliding so much on the leather. The owner suggested trying a clip from Chamilia. They have clips with a rubber/silicone inside that would grip on the leather. She had some left over from before she carried Pandora (you can't sell both) and we tried it and to the best of my recollection they worked out well. I didn't buy them that day because I bought other things and I always forget about them when I go in. I believe they are about the same price as a Pandora clip (which is way more than a pack of O rings LOL). But just thought I would mention the option if someone was hesitant about placing something rubber on their bracelet.

:D Thanks.....i'll have to see if anyone sells Chamilia here and go try it out...:)

Though it doesn't happen very often, I have had the pleasure of watching people at my favorite Pandora jewelry stores actually buy a bracelet and fill it up! One time it was a man buying his wife a Christmas gift and other time it was a mother and daughter. It was pretty exciting, but does take some of the fun out of adding a bead and making the bracelet very personal.

The most I have ever gotten at one time is 5 or 6 beads. I was doing the shopping for friend and I was getting "the biggest bang for my buck" and it happened to come to the budget's total! Another time I had sold my gold at the jewelry store and they offered me a way better deal if I spend my money in "credit" at the store. I ended up with quite a haul that day!

For my birthday last month, my mom took me to a Pandora retailer and let me loose! I ended up making a big pile of the beads and other Pandora jewelry that I admired and let her make the gift choice while I waited patiently somewhere else. She did an amazing job. I received a "Liquid Silver" adjustable necklace and the Silver Flow River Pendant as well as the yellow candy stripes murano bead and the Silver Vines enamel bead in light blue! I was totally spoiled and very thankful for her generousity.

My first Pandora bracelet was purchased this way. My husband took me into the jewelry store for my birthday and had me pick out the whole thing. It was fun, although people were looking at us kind of funny for picking out the whole thing at once. I will say, though, that I have switched out some of the beads on that bracelet b/c I changed my mind after having them for a while and seeing others I liked better. Maybe if I had built it slowly I might not have had to change them out. The one I am currently working on I am (trying to!) build it slowly. It's hard to be patient though!

I am not sure it matters how slowly or carefully you try to build your bracelet, sometimes your tastes just change, new beads are released, or you just change your mind. I have been a Pandora collector for years and none of my bracelets look the same now as they did then. I have new favorites and have sold many beads that no longer fit my tastes. For example: I was sure that I NEEDED the queen bee. I got her, put her on my bracelet, and wore it for a little while. Then the queen scratched my wrist, caused me to bleed, got a bath and then found a new home on someone else's bracelet. She's cute, but she hurt me and had to go. :p

Its such a hard decision picking and choosing beads and your'e right givemegold, your tastes change. I'm still debating what to make of my second bracelet. I've been playing around on bracelet builder and come up with a few suggestions but I always seem to pick the same beads. I just tried the bracelet builder on the Pandroa website but its terrible and I couldn't get it to bring up anything!

Question Pandora Fans!

Which do you like more?

A gold lock/silver bracelet $280.00
OR
Clips in Gold w/Safety Chain $300.00

I'm trying to decide which I would like the most. Which is the best to satisfy that need to add gold (i have 4 gold spacers and silver/gold accent charms on one bracelet) without going crazy?
Thanks!

I have a question for anyone (def Charmfan and DivaDivine) who have the enamel Ying Yang Bead:wondering
Does the white half of the bead still look white or has it turned yellowish? I have never had the jeweler clean it in the tumbler since it lives on my leather bracelet. Do you think if i had them clean it, it would get bright white again? Any thoughts would be helpful. thx

Hi sweetie! Sorry bout the late reply, just came back from vacation today....

My white enamel on the yin yang is just fine :) I have had it cleaned in the tumbler more times than I can count so take it off that leather and give it a bath, girl!! I promise it can handle it.:smile1:

Nelly4, you should try the one on mypandora.com.au
It isn't 3D, like the one on the Pandora website is meant to be, but it works and is fast. I have not been able to use the Pandora official one at all since they "upgraded" the website, and even have trouble logging in. They need to get some better IT people!

I think I'm going to go out and get the aqua murano with flowers this weekend.....only need about 5 more beads and my first bracelet will be complete! :smile1:Then I will try to post a picture.

Hi Luvpugz, I think either would be great. My current bracelet is a s/s with gold clasp and I have the 2 tone flower clips but I feel I need more gold on it. I think my next one will be a plain silver bracelet but I will spend the extra on gold clips and spacers to add bling.

If money was no object, I'd go 2 tone bracelet and gold clips.

Thanks. I've only just started collecting though so its a bit bare at the moment.

The thing I like about necklaces is that you don't have to fill them up, but you can still buy whatever beads and charms you want and chop and change each day. Will probably use a glass murano or wood bead as the centre focal point.

I will get a picture on here as soon as the admins let me. Four more days to go ... ! :yahoo:
