Thanks dalmunchkin & VickelyBickely glad you liked my bracelet.

I'm so tempted to start a 2 tone & pink bracelet soon. I'm now tempted by the pink lotus muranos - they look beautiful in pictures so I might have to go into the local store to see what they have.

Mmm, so many decisions.....

Just a quick question - do any other Aussies know if they have the cleaning tumblers here in stores to clean your pandora or is that just in the US?

Nelly4, I also love your 2 tone bracelet, very inspiring! Good luck with your gold muranos. It is very hard to decide! Sometimes I have in mind which bead I will buy, then walk out of the store with a totally different one.
I haven't heard about the tumblers over here. Did you ask when you went to the Pandora store today?;)

Hi SydneyGirl, I forgot to ask about the tumblers when I was in the shop today. I doubt that they would have one as they are only a small jewellers (not a Pandora store) but they do carry the whole range of Pandora. I was so taken in by all the gorgeous beads that I forgot to ask!!

Glad to see there are a few Aussies on here. I hardly see anyone wearing Pandora anymore but they always seem to be busy in the shop when I'm there

Don't worry, I am like that too. Next time I am near my Pandora store I will try to remember to ask....eventhough I don't buy from there, I buy from a small jeweller not far away from it. This is because they have a loyalty card, where every 7th bead you get huge discounts, for example, $30 off the first time, $39 off the second time, etc. Most people I know have a coffee card, I have a Pandora card!:cloud9: I am on my way to the $39 discount. I think at the start of this thread someone else said they don't see many people wearing Pandora, considering all the people buying. I did see someone with the grey double leather bracelet with a green murano and purple one, and silver beads. It looked good, and now I want one of those as well!

I have to say that it has yellowed a bit, but like you; I have not had it cleaned in the tumbler. I am going to ask the SA next time I visit the store and will let you know. What a good excuse to visit the Pandora store right?:graucho:

I've only had mine 3 months and haven't noticed any yellowing but I did have it cleaned in the tumbler with all the other ones. It is very white atm.

Though it doesn't happen very often, I have had the pleasure of watching people at my favorite Pandora jewelry stores actually buy a bracelet and fill it up! One time it was a man buying his wife a Christmas gift and other time it was a mother and daughter. It was pretty exciting, but does take some of the fun out of adding a bead and making the bracelet very personal.

The most I have ever gotten at one time is 5 or 6 beads. I was doing the shopping for friend and I was getting "the biggest bang for my buck" and it happened to come to the budget's total! Another time I had sold my gold at the jewelry store and they offered me a way better deal if I spend my money in "credit" at the store. I ended up with quite a haul that day!

For my birthday last month, my mom took me to a Pandora retailer and let me loose! I ended up making a big pile of the beads and other Pandora jewelry that I admired and let her make the gift choice while I waited patiently somewhere else. She did an amazing job. I received a "Liquid Silver" adjustable necklace and the Silver Flow River Pendant as well as the yellow candy stripes murano bead and the Silver Vines enamel bead in light blue! I was totally spoiled and very thankful for her generousity.

Those beads are great, well done, I only usually get one or 2 at a time. When I am buying one for a friend's birthday, I also get one for myself. Does anyone else do this....? :blushing:

I'm always very tempted to do that! But I usually behave myself.... I don't know whether I should be proud of myself for my restraint, or disappointed with myself for not seizing the opportunity, lol. In fact, I was in my store today picking up something for a friend, and was again good...

@Givemegold - The most I ever got was 5 beads at one time, too. The first time that happened was when I first bought my bracelet in May 2009, and I had been saving up to buy it for awhile at that point! The second time was when I took advantage of the spend $100 and get a free bracelet promotion at a local store (I'm in the US).

There was one time where I was watching TV with my fiance, and we saw a jewelry store commercial, and the man gave his wife a full Pandora bracelet. I actually said at the TV, "Well that's no fun!" My fiance was kinda surprised, because he knows I'm obsessed and frequently impatient to get a new bead. But I told him that part of the fun is the anticipation of a new bead and building and designing slowly.

Along these "O" rings line: Once I was in my shop and I expressed my dislike of the beads sliding so much on the leather. The owner suggested trying a clip from Chamilia. They have clips with a rubber/silicone inside that would grip on the leather. She had some left over from before she carried Pandora (you can't sell both) and we tried it and to the best of my recollection they worked out well. I didn't buy them that day because I bought other things and I always forget about them when I go in. I believe they are about the same price as a Pandora clip (which is way more than a pack of O rings LOL). But just thought I would mention the option if someone was hesitant about placing something rubber on their bracelet.

Lemontart,
Your bracelet is beautiful; I can understand the urge to finish a bracelet quick :smile1:
BTW, I love your avatar. I have been admiring VCA jewelry lately here on the TPF.

Thanks charmfan! When I first started I thought I would get a couple of charm each month...but turned out I got a couple every week...haha! I will probably add two more, one on each side next to the safety chain. Your bracelet is beautiful too!

I love VCA! Their jewelries are really unique!
