They are all gorgeous, VickelyBickely ....I especially love that pink and green themed bracelet, might do that one myself one day. Mine is an aqua/green theme at the moment.

Saw the Ugly Duckling/ Swan on your other bracelet. Just got that one last week and love it. Is it true that it is retired and expensive in the US?? It was only the original AUD$30 and easy to get here in Sydney.:smile1:

Thanks! I'm actually working on getting some of the aqua beads myself right now - they are soooo pretty!

The Ugly Duckling is retired AND expensive in the US. I was lucky to find one being sold on ebay a year ago and have it check out as genuine. Other retailers in the US sometimes sell it for as much as $129! :wtf:

Crazy. I wonder why they are not retired here....maybe they shipped heaps here and not quite so many Pandoraholics as there;)!

Thanks to Kirbymax for the welcome message to us new ones here. I am new and have found lots of inspiration from here and the picture thread....thanks everyone!

I have had this little addiction with Pandora since February this year, when I got my first Pandora in silver with the aqua murano with dots and the silver bird. Have been in love ever since.......is there something wrong with me??:confused1:

^^ Mich - yeah I was going to get the crown as I thought it was just lovely in the book but when I saw it IRL the anniversary bead blew me away and I ended up getting that one instead

SydneyGirl - LOL, of course there is nothing wrong with you! If there were, there's something wrong with all of us! I've been completely addicted since May of 2009 when I got my first bracelet (and I had been saving up for it for a few months before that!). :smile1: My fiance calls me obsessed, and I really can't argue!

I'm just getting into Pandora beads and don't even own anything yet! But I'm researching and shopping! Can anyone tell me, if I get the leather bracelets (I'm interested in the brown leather with gold clasp), what size hole do I need for the beads. I'm looking at some non-Pandora beads.

Thanks!

Bagaholic Anon, get ready to become addicted! I don't know if you can know for sure what fits the leather Pandora unless you try them on the bracelet. I know that Chamilia beads will fit Pandora's 'silver' bracelet, but I'm not sure about the leather. Also, Pandora's warranty is void when there are non Pandora beads on their bracelets. Have Fun!

THanks luvpugz! I'm going to try to visit a store to take a look and covertly measure the diameter of the leather! Are all the clasps the same width? I'm guessing they are a standard clasp, regardless of leather/gold/silver bracelet. I guess that's what I need to measure since the bead must fit over that.

Just wanted to mention in case you were not aware that for leather bracelets Pandora recommends you put only a few beads (like no more than 8-9) I think. Maybe someone here knows the exact number. Also be careful about getting it wet. That being said I do have a black leather that I wear plain or with one bead and I love it.

That's actually why I wanted to start with a leather bracelet, to see if I get the "hang" of this without having to invest a lot yet.

My partner is fine with my addiction. He is obsessed with his motorbike now, so maybe we're even....except has has spent WAY more than me! Let's have a look at those gold bracelets!:graucho:

Or maybe a necklace for now. What's better for a necklace, the leather lariat or cotton cord? Wish the leather ones came in different colours like the bracelets....thanks!

The traditional leather adjustable necklaces come in black, brown, pink, green and turquoise. Another option is wear the double woven bracelet as a necklace and those colors are black, brown, champagne and red. The leather lariat comes in black only with silver or gold tip option. Cotton lariats are versatile too working as necklaces and bracelets and because they are cotton and in my opinion don't wear out as fast as their leather counterparts.
Good luck choosing and I think you a smart one for starting out slow ;). I am in the US so maybe when you hit your dealer you will have even more choices.

Thanks Using_Daddy's_$$ ! Also thanks to Zh1va. You get very quick responses and helpful advice around here! :D I am thinking of Spring time soon (it is depressing and cold here right now), and maybe black will be too dark. Need something lighter and brighter. One of the coloured cotton lariats would be good.
Thanks again! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
