I just love your bracelet,It's my fave on here:DI like that you have no muranos,Im not a big fan of them and if dh hadn't gave me the one for xmas,I wouldnt have it on my bracelet...just about every bead on your bracelet is on my list:graucho:Do you have plans for a second bracelet????

Yes, i have plans for bracelet number 2! I was thinking of perhaps getting an oxi lobster clasp, but would have to see it IRL. I was also thinking of a red leather bracelet, putting my snowman on & a couple of other xmas charms on for a themed bracelet towards the end of the year. I am not a big murano fan but one or two are quite nice, i may be tempted to get one for my next ss bracelet. I like the wood ones better. Maybe a leather bracelet with a single wood murano?

Can we talk safety chains?? Who has one - yay or nay??

I'm petrified to loose my bracelet but I'm also scared that I'm going to catch the chain on everything! Anyone have their jeweler shorten it so that it will still catch on your wrist if the clasp opens?

I have all two tone charms - should I go for the two tone heart chain or the silver flower one? Decisions are so hard sometimes!

Driving home I pointed out to dh our neigbhborHood jeweler was now advertising pandora he said looks its been a bit of a rough wk lets go in and he got me the clock charm in ss v cute

I say yay. I have one on my ss bracelet and one on a leather which has some two tone charms. I do feel more relaxed wearing my bracelets with a safety chain as I would be gutted if I lost any of my charms.

I have the chain because as the bracelet fills up it becomes quite difficult to pull it together to close it! I'm having this problem with my second one which only has beads in the middle section. Also if it opened you have a better chance of feeling it as it "slowly" falls.

I am right-handed and that's where I wear them and I have yet to feel the chain pulling on anything. For that matter those that have the locket with dangling key don't seem to have this problem; that is I haven't read about it on here. Nor does my friend who I gifted this one to said that she has had issues

aww that is SO sweet!!!! Sounds like you have an incredibly wonderful friend....Congrats on your new bracelet!

I know.....I LOVE my bracelet!

And so the obsession begins.... Welcome to the club!

Yes....I created my own on the Pandora site & it came to $2500K easy :D

Congrats on your bracelet, how sweet that you both did that for each other:smile1:

This 1st Pandora bracelet will hold a special place in my heart

Pretty much this :smile1: I have one completed bracelet with a safety chain and I'll be starting my second shortly and once I have more than a couple of beads on there a safety chain will swiftly follow!

I think how much of a failsafe the chain is depends on how your bracelet fits. Mine has 4 Muranos and 2 wooden beads (ummed and ahhed over using two of the same wood beads on one bracelet before popping it on!) so is a relatively close fit - room enough to move but not flopping up and down the wrist. So a safety chain is pretty effective as it would keep the bracelet from slipping over the largest part of my hand.

I definitely feel safer with the chain on and so far haven't caught it on anything :smile1:

i just recently added the two-tone hearts safety chain. my bracelet is almost full, and i found it harder to get on as well. this way i can roll it over my hand. and it does give it a bit of elegance and looks more finished, IMO.

i didn't like the way the silver ones looked, the designs. plus all i could find in stock was two-toned or gold. gold was too gold, IMO, so two-tone it is!

They need to add another 2-tone design to the chains IMHO

Hubby bought me the 42cm necklace back in July but I've never been happy with the length and wish he'd bought the 40cm. Do you think its too late to change it? I've only worn it twice due to my dissatisfaction with the length.
