Hi all, I don't post much, but got a couple of bits for Xmas which has renewed my interest.

Yes I have read this too, it said something about "up to 20%" which sounds like an awful lot! I guess it will depend on the charm though and won't be 20% on everything.

The vat in the uk is going up to 20%, maybe that is what will happen? Damn you government for making my Pandora obsession even dearer!

They are apparently combining the Vat increase with a general price increase due to increased silver costs etc. It just keeps getting more expensive!

They may find that their profits take a downturn then... For us girls it may mean a charm or two less in the year. I was planning on getting the black mother of pearl charm at the end of January too.I wonder how much that will now cost?!

Hi All :) thank you to everyone on the tips for opening the clasp:)
This is where I am at I got a small leather pandora bracelet
and is now almost filled up so it is time to buy the oxidised sterling silver one with a gold clasp or silver clasp?
But I am not sure what size to go for? My wrist is tiny
so the 17cm leather I got was snug to start but is now loser because of the
charms I guess ? So is it better to go for the 18cm?
Any help would be appreciated:) as I thought I better buy this before the price
goes up more!
Thank you again :)

Ask the sa at pandora to measure your wrist, then you will have the right bracelet size.I'm tempted to get an oxi lobster clasp as my next bracelet. If i had the money i would go for the gold clasp.

That's a good idea :) the trouble is our local pandora shop is a nightmare the layout
of the store is not very good. And it is sooo busy ! But I guess your right I shall just
have to be patient and ask!
I shall let you know when I get it this week I intend on getting some kind of colour scheme going too by buying some murano's:) I can't wait
I am quite addicted now ! LOL

I don't think of myself as having tiny wrists but here is my experience so far. I measure about 16 cm (6.5 inches) and I've heard 2 recommendations: one is to add an inch to your measurement, the other is to add 2 cm to your measurement. I have the 19 cm (7.5) bracelet in silver and it's ok, but I wouldn't want it any looser. In fact, I think I would be happier with 18 cm, as I've heard that the bracelet will stretch over time. If you are going to fill it, (I don't plan to:D) and especially if you plan to use glass (I don't) you might need the more generous measurement. Hope that makes sense--I am still new at pandora.

Does anyone here have the lobster clasp bracelet? If someone does do you feel like the bracelet resists being done up? It feels like I am going to break the bracelet everytime I do it up because the two ends don't seem to want to meet up easily so I can latch it.
I don't know if I am explaining it right or not to be understood?

I was thinking of buying the bracelet with the other clasp and giving this one to my sister, but I don't know if I could ever get the other one off my wrist because of the way the clasp is. When I tried those on in the store they didn't seem to resist as much when you are getting the two ends to meet up to latch it.

Yeah, I have that problem with mine too. It can take a few minutes to get it on, but as soon as it is it evens out.

I wouldn't say it's that bad that I feel like I'm going to break it though :hrmm:

:D ok cool I thought it was maybe just my bracelet! It does eventually work itself out if I twist it around a certain way I just didn't know if it was maybe a defect or not and I didn't want to push my luck and have it break or something dumb because it's only a couple months old and I have only worn it a couple of times because I was waiting for clips! I still need to purchase clips but am going to try and get them tuesday if I have time after my exam.

Is this true?? Price increase? Does anyone have details? Jan 4? This will be significant since the price of gold and silver is high. If this is true, $100.00 will be the average for charms that have any gold on them.:crybaby:

I took a screen shot of my wishlist at Pandora.net:

Love your wishlist list items!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope not! I went to a true Pandora store for the 1st time today (all my Pandora purchases were from Jared). I fell for a few items just right away, but their inventory was lacking. You could tell a lot of charms were missing from the displays.

Hi ladies! I finally bought another silver bracelet and after playing around with the placement of the beads, I think I'm finally happy with the placement of the beads on the full one.

What happened was I had a brown, a pink, and a black leather bracelet, but because I'm constantly washing my hands, (I am a librarian so always handling books and shelves that are dusty), I became so paranoid of getting the leather wet, so I took off the beads I had on them and bought a silver one to move them to. ( I gave the black one to a friend of mine).

What I saw for myself and wanted to share was that the bracelet does indeed stretch out. Both are the 7.5 inch one; the stretched out one is one year old.
