I am also a Newbie. I chose the sterling silver bracelet with the 14K gold clasp. I added the elephant and the silver charm with the Zirconia. I think I am going to have a neutral color scheme so I can wear it everyday.

My next charms will be the purse with the gold clasp or bow and another silver charm with the Zirconia.

I am spending a lot of time on this forum and the internet. I would not add charms that are not Pandora. Why ruin my bracelet. I do not like fake.

A second bracelet choice would be a black leather bracelet with wood and gold beads for the summer, can't wait.:yahoo: I am so excited!!!!!!

I cannot take pics because, I cannot find my battery for my camera.

Seems like forever since I have been here! Everyone has gotten lovely additions this Christmas and the bracelets are beautiful. I received some goodies but haven't taken pics: DH got me the white gold murano, dd gave me a turtle, ds gave me the scarab beetle, MIL gave me the onyx showstopper bead and new green quartz ring. My boss surprised me with the retired diamond web bead. Also received the purple zen bead and an orange moonstone from my folks. Hope everyone has a great new year!

This is my first post on the Pandora thread. I started collecting in May. My DH started me off with three beads and a bracelet. I have since added to the first bracelet, and then DH started a second "winter" themed bracelet for me for Christmas.

My first bracelet is on the top. I am trying to keep that one as a black and white theme. The key to my heart bead he gave me on our wedding day in Oct.

The bottom bracelet was my Christmas gift. I had sent him to the Pandora store with catalog in hand, but they were out of a lot of the beads I had chosen, so he went out on his own. I think he did *really* well!

I invested in clips and that helped me to confine the beads to one section of the bracelet until I got more beads on it. But I find that even then, the bracelet will swing around on your hand. You just have to keep adjusting it if you don;t want it to swing down.

I have a Troll bracelet, too, and it does the same thing. One of these days, I will invest in some stopper beads for it, but I expect that then the entire thing will still swing round until I get it full.

I like the Troll beads better than Pandora, but I prefer the Pandora bracelet. They have more variety and more detail. Unfortunately, it is pretty hit or miss whether the Troll beads will fit on the Pandora. Some of the silver ones will fit, but I have not been able to get any of the Troll glass beads to fit on my Pandora bracelet.

Does anyone have any tips on an easy way of
opening the clasp on my pandora bracelet?
I got one at Christmas and have found it quite
hard to open? Also it's half full already does it become tighter
as it fills ? Thank you in advance for any tips! And Happy New Year =)

Invest in the clasp opener from pandora.A little silver flower with a cz in the middle of the petals.It pretty, I'm thinking of getting one.

Aprilshack - your bracelet looks beautiful. Is it the 7.5 size?

GretaC - I don't think the Pandora bracelets fit that much tighter without a few of the Murano glass beads. Also I think the weight of the beads actually stretch the length of the bracelet over time. My silver pandora bracelet is too big. It was a gift and the salesperson advised that it would fit better when full. It does fit better but it's still huge (8.3) and I can remove it without opening the clasp. It rolls right off and it's completely filled with charms including 5 Murano beads. Since then I got a 2-tone 7.5 and I like it a lot better. With 8 charms on it I can still fit two fingers inside. I plan on replacing the silver one with either a 7.5 or 7.9. I'm afraid that 7.9 is too big, also?

My bracelet is 19cm, i think at some point i will be replacing it as i think it may stretch too much when full over time.I think if it gets to the stage when you can roll it off the wrist it may be time to replace it.

Does anyone know if the old style, flat elephant charm is retired in the uk.I can find it online (maybe last stocks if retired?) but my local pandora store have never had it in.They were said it didn't exist until i showed them a photo....

Are Pandora increasing their prices on Jan 4th, due to the global, rising costs of Gold & Silver? I went on the argento.uk site & that's what the banner at the top of the page says... If it is true, i wonder how much say, a £45 charm will now be?

Hi all, I don't post much, but got a couple of bits for Xmas which has renewed my interest.

Yes I have read this too, it said something about "up to 20%" which sounds like an awful lot! I guess it will depend on the charm though and won't be 20% on everything.
