The beads slide over the tiny elastics and hide them as the "O" rings act like spacers on either side of the beads :D

I think Pandora need to start making something to stop this problem of the beads sliding around a leather bracelet. Maybe some specially designed tiny plastic rings for under the beads & tiny, fancy spacer like beads that would take a bit of effort to push on & around the bracelet but would keep the charms from going around.

Hey ladies... just wondering if I could pick your brains...

I have finally filled my first bracelet... and am after another (ha and DP thought that that would be the end of it!!) ... Im thinking either the oxidized silver, or the black leather single (only because I already have the silver, and don't really want to double up)

Have any of you got the oxidized bracelat?? Has it stayed the same colour or is it losing the oxidation ... and if it has, does it look that bad when it does???

TIA

Hi ladies. I am new to Pandora as I just got my first bracelet around July or so. I bought it with the dangling anchor (gold on silver). My husband is in the Navy so it was the draw for me. My mom had purchased me Pandora necklace and matching ring in May so that was my start into the brand. Anyway last week I finally found a penguin charm that I have been looking for and I got two starburst clips. So I am going slowly, but surely. I don't know if I want to completely fill it up though. Is that strange?

I just ordered the heart/anchor/cross bead tonight after finding online places (while reading this entire thread). I can't wait till it gets here!

I also ordered the beveled heart wrap ring that I have been searching for forever in any store I see Pandora sold at after finding something online.

Anyway, can I get the Pandora jewelry box for $30 at PandoraMOA to safely store charms/bracelets in or will it run the risk (that some were talking about earlier in the boxes these things come in) of ruining the charms, etc?

I have a Pandora necklace that I have kept in the box it came in and don't wear often and now it seems like maybe the chain has darkened. How can I clean/fix that? Where can I store it to avoid further issues? TIA

Hi & welcome to the wonderful world of Pandora! To clean silver (don't put beads with pearl, opal or anything coral in water!) get some warm water, baking soda & some tin foil & put in a bowl. Remember not put put any charms with oxidised details in! You can hold a pandora bracelet by the barrel end though.

I also recommend the connoisseurs silver jewelry cloth too. :)

The necklace I am referring to that needs to be cleaned has pearls on it. I am not worried about the pearls, but want to clean just the chain of the necklace. Can I just use a toothbrush or something with the above cleansing items to scrub that?

Also, the cloth you listed- is it better than if I order a Pandora cleaning cloth?

I'm pretty sure you can get some specialist pearl cleaner. If you do go ahead & clean your necklace, just be careful & use something like a very soft baby's toothbrush to avoid scratching those pearls!

I have one but after 3 years the oxidization on the bracelet has worn off a bit - but i did wear it everyday until I got my two tone one and swapped to that.......... it depends on your skin I think.

LOL!!! That's how I started. I didn't want to do it, I bought 1 charm and a silver bracelet..I told the jeweler I will only spend $100 that's it...that was in Feb 09, today I have 2 full bracelets (one gold clasp), a leather bracelet, a necklace (for charms) and a few extra charms!

Tia, I've heard from the Pandora SA's that the oxidized bracelet will eventually fade out.
