They come in 4, 5 and 6cm. Although in the US I think only 5cm is available. They won't screw off before you notice your bracelet is undone. :smile1: I really like them, I think they complete a bracelet.

In the UK, the safety chains only come in 5cm unless they have some of the old ones left which come in the sizes you mentioned. They only make them 5cm now.:smile1:

It's my understanding that Perlen has lost their contract to sell Pandora, but that Pandora has given them an extended length of time to continue selling until Perlen can get a replacement company established to replace the loss of their business.

The Perlen situation is...
Pandora have a fixed pricing policy which we are obviously all aware of. This applies everywhere apart from selected Northern & Eastern European countries.
The companies who are 'losing their contracts' are the ones who already sell cheaper than pandora would like, but who sell worldwide... ie Perlen.
The problem pandora has - and they will only admit this by contacting them through their .dk website - is that Perlen are the biggest seller in Denmark; they even outsell Pandora stores there and pandora.dk!!!
So they have agreed to allow Perlen a new temporary contract every time a new collection is released.
It would be such a shame, if they did stop selling, but I think we can appreciate now why they'd prices have definitely crept up a bit!
There is definitely however 1 other European company I know of who pandora have completely cut their contract with - and both pandora and the retailer are very bitter about it.

Hope that all makes sense... And now you know xx

What is this other website? I think Perlen is actually one of the cheapest online, but their styles are very out of date. Except for some designs, but the stock for those are very limited.

I agree that it's all the older charms which most people have or are not really interested in, apart from some of the newer ones which are still quite expensive and are usually out of stock.

By the way, I am loving your "full" bracelet.;) Who said they only wanted it half full?:smile1:

hmm not sure about that. We have all sizes in stock, including the newer hearts one. I hadn't heard anything about the other sizes being discontinued. 7cm is available on the estore too I think.

It's true, I was told by a member of staff at Pandora quite some time ago. They still have some of the older safety chains in stock in different size, but the new ones are only being made in 5cm. This was because I wanted the 4cm and was told this information. This is for the UK, I don't know about anywhere else. Or maybe they were lying to me which I would find odd. All of their newer stock safety chains were 5cm so I ended up getting this size, but it turned out better for me in the long run.

I definitely haven't heard this, our new stock has still been in all sizes. 5cm is the most common size though, I don't feel there is really a need for the others.
