Hey everyone! I love looking at all of the beautiful bracelets!

I just had a question for everyone. This is my first pandora and I am not familiar with safety chains. Mine is really getting up there in value and I am terrified for it to break or fall from my wrist. I have heard sometimes it is good to put a clip on to keep the safety chain on your bracelet but I have no idea. I want to get the gold safety chain but since my bracelet is filling up I don't know whether to get a clip too or just get regular charms.

Thank you all so much! A pic of my bracelet is attached..I wanted a nice fall theme!!

I would definitely get a safety chain since you have an expensive collection there. I actually have a safety chain on my bracelet but if it comes undone my bracelet along with the safety chain will completely slide off my hand, so that's not much reassurance that it won't fall off my hand even with a safety chain. So now I have a safety chain on my bracelet but I also have a clip that I put on the end of my bracelet (goes on after the safety chain) so when the clasp is open the whole bracelet can't slide off my hand. Hopefully I explained it ok.

So do you mean that the safety chain would untwist itself straight away and fall off?

I had hoped it would stay twisted on long enough for you to realize that your bracelet was open. I plan on getting one, and I hope to use it to cover the threads.

I got one of the smaller *twist on* ones as i didnt want it to interfere with my charms. Mine when undone would not slide off my hand, i have to ease it off. I suppose it depends on what size bracelet you went for ? i went for the 18 - 2cm larger than my wrist rather than the 19 they said would also be ok but that would have been faaaar too big.

............and i only have charms on the front of mine.

I like this one better!

Just spent a good part of the last hour cleaning! I'll need to take off all of the charms at some point for a more thorough clean, but at least it's now wearable :D

It's not the first time that I've not worn the bracelet for a while only to find it tarnished, though it's never been as bad as this. I'll try storing it in a non Pandora box next time to see if that makes any difference.

Before (I'd already started cleaning the clasp):

Several cleaning cloths and a lot of elbow grease later...

Here's hoping it won't tarnish so quickly again! :sweatdrop:
can you tell me what kind of detergent do you normally use to clean your charms please? Thanks!:smile1:

Hi everyone, I haven't been here in a while and I'm getting the Pandora bug again. Just when you thought it was safe, right? :)

I was looking at Perlen today. Seems like they don't have nearly as many charms as they used to and their prices look like they went up. Does anyone still shop there? Are there are new places?
