Maxi is that a Rose Work?! It's the perfect dusty rose colour...with a hint of gray in it! Makes it look very contact like and perfect with your hair colour too!!

The current bags are nothing like these babies and as you know, 2004 leather is heavenly soft!! It's some of the best leather ever, up there with F/W '01 & S/S '02 but with even more amazing colors!I'm definitely keep it but will let you know if I see another. I had this modeling photo of the one we sold and I have been lusting after this bag since:

I don't think I have ever seen a mystery green city ... same for some other mysterious city like the 03 emerald city, 04 dark turquoise city or the yellow city. They are very well hidden, I don't even know how they look like, I only saw the swatches here on TPF

That mystery green twiggy is so tempting! It has been on my mind all weekend! But I haven't tried a twiggy yet, and am not sure if I would love it the way I do my cities.
Why is it that some of these colors are so extra elusive, compared to say pumpkin, seafoam, etc? I am thrilled to be able to say that one of those super rare ones you mentioned, French, will be mine this spring though!!! So persistence does pay off with tracking down these jems.

How easy is eggplant to track down? I really want to add a twiggy in eggplant to my one and only pumpkin but I also like moutarde. Is it worth waiting until an eggplant twiggy comes up (assuming I have the funds by then) Moutarde is a fairly recent colour so I am sure plenty will pop up over the next year or so. Is there logic in my thinking??

Its the 2004 leather along with the colour thats drawing me to eggplant so I think I shall have to wait it out. I saw one on Ebay although I didnt get it checked out as I caught it at the last minute. I was convinced nobody was going to bid on it..until someone put in a bid at the last minute!!!
I suppose if I check all the websites once a day I may find one eventually. Peferably towards the end of the year!

S/S '04 Dark Turquoise is so not dark turquoise in my opinion. The color is like Wonder Woman Blue or Cobalt Blue or maybe Celestial Blue. I saw it in this First last year (which was the 1st time I'd seen this color in person!)
^ It's a very rare color b/c few Buyers ordered it or something like that ;o)
I have been fortunately enough to see many colors from the early days. Some only once since I've been looking all these years! The S/S '04 Yellow is a wonderful bright yellow and I would love to have one of those in my collection too!
My Green City is S/S '04 so that's Mystery Green, but Balenciaga didn't call that color that name, so I'm just going with "Green." The color has softened a little and the vibe of the bag is wonderful. I'll have to take her out soon!
