I agree. It's nice to have satchels WITH optional or removable crossbody straps. Or even shoulder straps with the optional crossbody.
Or crossbody adjustable straps that you can wear on your shoulder by doubling or shortening them.
I love the milton shape but I would not have gotten it if the cross body strap wasn't available.
Hello HHhotties! I hope that your weekend is going swimmingly. The weather in NYC is entirely gorgeous.
Surprises, surprises for next week. Some hints:
-Pompidou, Celina & Ramone: healthy restock of current new colors on the site arriving. I am finally going to get my own Ramone in wild rose!
-A traveling companion to the Ibiza (one that you know and love) is arriving just in time for a sunny winter getaway.
-A much-loved cuff is arriving (rhymes with tarot) and debuting in vintage patent leathers. (thought you'd like that!)
-An essential and totally adorable HH item is arriving in a tidal wave of new leather colors. This is a very functional item. Who can guess what it is?
Signing off for the night. Bummed that the tPF iPhone app isn't working, or I would take you all out with me for a drink tonight.

I love the barrow and CANNOT wait for the new colours. I think the barrow is actually the most user friendly cuff for work.

I just wanted to post really quickly to say I got my Biblio and Sorcerer's wallet from a lovely tPFer on Bonanza.
The Biblio is every bit as nice as I'd hoped, better even. I love the size and the leather is so smooshy! I don't know if anyone remembers but this bag is a replacement for a black leather bag of similar size that I lost due to a kitten mistaking it for a litter box! Phew, that bag still smells like kitty pee, guess I will just throw it out. Good thing it's "just" a Steve Madden, but I really liked that bag. The Biblio is way better with all the pockets and such.

On the suggestion that we sell 'solo' crossbody straps to add onto other HH bags: it's a very interesting & valid suggestion. I will certainly take the idea into consideration, although as the designer, I must say that our handbags are meant to be worn as designed (obvs). Let me think about this one a bit further...

I'd also love to see optional crossbody straps for the Lorca and the Havana (and like bags, with totally removable straps). I have both bags in platinum, but they share a single strap that I interchange. (I bought the Havana used, and the strap was a mess.)
I've also worn my black Lorca with a crossbody strap from another brand. It works well because of the way the bag drapes...it hugs my hip nicely.
There's a shop on the Bonz that sells crossbody straps, but I don't like wearing a fine bag with a generic strap; and of course it can only be done properly with a black bag because of color variations in both the leather and hardware.

that's my issue too...wearing a designer bag with a generic strap. I guess that makes me a bit of strap snob!
