I've worn my black Lorca with a crossbody strap from another brand. It works well because of the way the bag drapes...it hugs my hip nicely.

I've also worn my Mercer clutch with the crossbody strap from a Botkier Trigger Moto.

Hello HHhotties! I hope that your weekend is going swimmingly. The weather in NYC is entirely gorgeous.

Surprises, surprises for next week. Some hints:
-Pompidou, Celina & Ramone: healthy restock of current new colors on the site arriving. I am finally going to get my own Ramone in wild rose!

-A traveling companion to the Ibiza (one that you know and love) is arriving just in time for a sunny winter getaway.

-A much-loved cuff is arriving (rhymes with tarot) and debuting in vintage patent leathers. (thought you'd like that!)

-An essential and totally adorable HH item is arriving in a tidal wave of new leather colors. This is a very functional item. Who can guess what it is?

Sallyca guessed barrow..I my barrows because they are so light and easy to wear..and even work with bangles or curb link bracelets in a really professional setting! I believe you had hinted about Maldives when this thread first started, Toni..unless it's wishful thinking on my part because I'm ing my Pan Am Tote in Smoke Blue but when I saw a fellow TPFer IRL and she had her Maldives with her it immediately went onto my list of must HHaves...in VIOLET!. I'm hoping for carryalls..possibly barrel cases, those passport holders (more is never more when it comes to those..multi tasing little wonders that they are)..maybe coin purses? I know it isn't tassels because you nixed them when someone inquired about buying them separately from the Lorca (?) on a thread. Maybe Bungalow or Emile Indexer wallet? Sophie card case? Porte Key fob? OOOOOH...maybe those adorable little charms like the owl coin purse, mushroom, tree...so many lovely SLGs you created..I can't wait to see what the surprise will be.

My pomps shipped on Thurs!! YAY! Now if I can only get UPS to update the site so I can see when they will get here. . Now I'm eyeing the Lorca. Maybe a bday present for myself?? I DO hope what was hinted at may be a pilot. I had a black,indigo,vcp, tan, and grey at one point. What was I thinking selling them??? I will be buying them up when/if they come back.

I'd also love to see optional crossbody straps for the Lorca and the Havana (and like bags, with totally removable straps). I have both bags in platinum, but they share a single strap that I interchange. (I bought the Havana used, and the strap was a mess.)

Sometimes out of necessity, sometimes out of personal preference - it's nice to be able to modify. One size doesn't fit all particularly when it comes to fashion.

Hmmmm. It does look like the one that Toni loved which she said inspired her to create some wonderful HH stuff in past collections. Maybe she's letting go of her past inspirations in because she has new inspirations galore for another era of Hayden Harnett goodness. She did say she was coming out with many new designs this new year . Designers reference each other and pay hommage to each other as well as to past designers (and history, theater, nature, art, literature..and who knows what else) often when designing collections of clothes and accessories. Gah..I am not in the market for a Prada no matter whose it is but it really is adorable
