Toni, I just watched the video for the Nackie. How long are the document compartment's and main compartment's zipper opening? I'm trying to figure out if I can carry some folders/standard size notebooks/thin texbooks in the doc pocket and a netbook inside. Thank you.

Hi Everyone,

Ben is working to improve our site's backend and we are updating all preorder dates, so please don't panic if you see that an item gets pushed out to a 1/23 preorder. We are trying to quote a healthier timeline for deliveries to keep up with order demand. I really do apologize (and I can understand) that preorder shift dates are frustrating. We're in a huge period of transition creating the new Hayden-Harnett (yay!) You may wait a week longer for an item, but they are entirely gorgeous. The new bags and smalls are looking amazing!

If you have questions about your order or product, you are always welcome to contact Ashley in CS via phone toll-free at 1-866-921-2247 from 9-6, M-F or via email at [email protected]. You can always livechat with a CS agent on the site in realtime. Someone is generally there unless it's super late. For those who don't know, I'm the designer & creative director for Hayden-Harnett, so I'm not going to be the best resource for customer service or tracking orders, but I am happy to help as much as it is within my capacity to do so. I am, however, really great at answering questions about most things Hayden-Harnett, and about our designs.

bbb123: Please see above. The Pomps are ready and we will be receiving within the week, along with cuffs.

skydive nikki: We have your order for the Nackie in Coralline. We had two in stock and one sold in the store over the holidays. We had already shipped one when we launched. We have an order in for 5 additional units of the Nackie in Coralline and you get the very first one. They are definitely coming. We received confirmation today. I saw that a larger order

gingeybear: Top zip opening measures 14". Document pocket zip opening measures 16".
The Nackie will definitely fit a netbook, folders, and papers inside. The exterior document pocket will fit folders, but cannot be zipped closed due to the curve of the zipper entry.

xo-Toni

Hi Toni,

I just started a review thread for the new Pomp... I love it, but do miss the long bill slot inside, and unfortunately, still don't think the strap's long enough. The leather's amazing, and the canvas lining is gorgeous, though! Overall very happy with it.

A quick design question, though, since I don't have an older one to compare it to... did you widen the main compartment, or does it just seem like that because the divider is gone? Oh, and I love the chunkier zipper pulls and details!

Thank you, Toni. I don't need the side compartment to zip closed if I'm toting folders but it's a nice option to have when I do need it. I'm going to take a few more measurements but I think it's perfect for my needs when I don't want to schlep something large like Msr. Milton and want something a bit more "business" than KPoo Patent Corcovado. Crunching numbers..crunching numbers....(whispering) I would love to see Nackie in Bitter Lime patent........

hey ladies!

ben and i are heading home for the evening, but thanks so much for posting great questions. i really do enjoy coming to the thread everyday to check in and hear your thoughts...i really look forward to it.

bbb123: totallllyyy understand. the new pomp is pretty amazing. you will be thrilled with yours. what color did you choose?

jennirane: i stalked your new pomp reveal thread! it's really great and i love how much care and time you took to really share your thoughts and images. ada is adorable, but she looks pretty sassy. we did widen the main compartment so the pomp would still fit enough cards and items for a jaunt out, but would work a bit better with adding in a smartphone or ipod. good eye.

gingeybear: if monsieur milton were going to date another bag, it would definitely be the nackie. those two are peas in a gorgeous pod.

PS- BIG news of the day that totally slipped away from me? Our Havana hobo is back...yep, the classic version in new leathers with our feather print lining. We have black, tomato, and maize on the site now. A little bird told me that the Havana will also be available for preorder very soon in atlantic & bitter lime vintage patent. Stay tuned.

Thx, Toni--I thought it looked wider. Ada always gets in my HH photos, LOL. She's the quieter of the two, though. Wrigley's our hellion.

Don't know if I can resist a BL Havana! And the Maize is gorgeous for spring...

Hey toni - I know Nikki asked back in the thread and I don't know if I've seen a reply about the difference between Candy Apple and Vermillion?

The hotties are slowly convincing me that I need to try a pomp.

Thank you, Toni...now if the date twixt the two continued into a long term relationship and progressed to...umm... say something a bit more intimate..the offspring would be divine as well.

and..OM GAWD..if I could rock a Havana in Bitter Lime I'd hock something. The darn strap flanges on my shoulder and refuses to stay on..major slippage.

Pretty pretty pretty pretty please create a satchel in Bitter Lime patent!

^GB I have the same problem because of the round rings. I actually thought about cutting the round rings off the strap and replacing them with flat / oval ones but I sold it instead.

bbb123: amazing color choices! those two together are entirely TDF. i think you will be very pleased with your new pomps. two of my fav new HH colors...very rich together.

mothbeast: sorry, I did see the question re: vermillion vs/ candy apple v.patent & thanks for the reminder. the vermillion is a bright, true red that teeters on being fire coral. the candy apple is a click lighter than our burgundy v.patent...think a really rich glazed burgundy with strong red apple tones showing through. we have one pomp left from first run in vermillion.

jennirane: Ada looks so much like my gran's cat, who is- creatively- named 'cat'. those two together are a feisty dish. Ada has that same look in her eye. is she a russian blue? Shouldn't every HH product shot have a cat in it? Maybe we should do a new kitty print scarf...I've been sketching our calico, Sadie, lately. I love her patches & pastel coloring. She has bunny fur.

The v.patent Havanas are coming!!! They are on order.
