What does this mean for people that have outstanding orders? I think there are a few of us that have been waiting a few months for various bags.
I concur, but with better hardware....since my merlot is out of comission.....

Okay, maybe this is a stupid question but it's been a bad week (that's not over) and I just want clarification: Does this mean that there's a new parent company heading up HH and it's NOT the same one that messed things up so royally (Jeff Silverman)?

To answer a few of your questions posted above:
-fabae: You are correct. AHQ is the new parent company of Hayden-Harnett. Jeff Silverman is no longer involved with the brand. I have returned to the brand as Creative Director and will be heading up the new team and the holiday relaunch of the brand under AHQ's roof.
-Outstanding Orders: I have been away from the company since mid-May, but I am getting up to speed on exactly where we are with the company transition. After speaking with CS, all current outstanding orders will be sent cancellation notifications. Unshipped orders, of course, have not been charged.
We are completely revamping and relaunching the brand under AHQ and working with my select manufacturers moving forward. This is the reason for the general pending order cancellations.
Customer Credit: We will honor existing customer credits and are transferring all information to our new database.

I usually am extremely quite, but this time, I have to say this news makes me happy. 
I thought I had to find another brand to love. Thank you for keeping us updated.
One question, will we see old styles in new colors and leathers in the future? There are some bags I would love to own in various colors.

We are planning a mix of our classics in new leathers, plus new styles for Holiday'12, and also to bring back our Hayden by Hayden-Harnett collection.
