The New shopper bag?

I guess I'm the minority here, but I LOVE the Bazar Bag.

First of all, it's pretty much the same bag as the Céline Cabas (which was inspired by paper shopping bags much like the Bazar was by market totes) except better in every way. The Bazar has a zippered closure. It fits over the shoulder. And it was designed to carry more than 5 pounds.

It's under the radar, truly. Unless someone is really in the know or has a terrific eye, you won't find much criticism when you carry this (as opposed to many other designer totes).

It has personality. In my book, mind you, this fits the thesis of The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up because it inspires pure joy. I think it would make Martin Margiela smile and say, "I should have thought of that!" and that's enough for me.

Ha, I'm undecided about those striped ones  At first I didn't care for them much, but now that I walk past a shop window with a displayed green-orange combination every day when going from work, it kind of grew on me :p It's interesting and roomy… but it does look like a grocery tote (well, hence the name Bazar (market place), right? )

I couldn't help and tried it on today, it's VERY light-weight, which makes it even more similar to those synthetic checkered bags and it's very square! I know, to each his own, but this one is just odd!

This happened to me as well. I walked past the red, white and blue colored one everyday and now i can't stop thinking about it. I saw it in black too, which is actually such a lovely and practical bag. I like this bag and i think it looks nice worn, but the price is the only thing holding me back. If it were a lot cheaper than a City bag, i would consider purchasing.

The medium is my favorite size, but it's still rather large. I wish I was an smidget smaller. How do the handles feel in person? I tend to stuff my totes (carry a pair of shoes, scarf, or god forbid have to lug my work computer home!), and I have to say that the handles don't look too substantial. I really with they were stitched all the way down those 2 lines on the front instead of attaching separately.

Agreed, they're pretty pricey for a tote. I'm eyeing the Holiday Collection version on Balencaiaga's website HARD. I'm waiting to see if these'll be reduced by the time sale begins in December.

Indeed, they feel a bit thin and not really durable.
i don't know how they will wear, but first feel is not very promissing, to be honest, the bag itself is very light, maybe it will be a work-horse in disguise, but i personally doubt that bottom will keep the shape if you load it heavily

Thanks! I just called the Soho store. They couldn't tell me an exact weight estimate that the Bazar can carry, but they said that many women and men have been buying it for a work bag and that it is durable enough to handle a "hefty" load.

Well, only time can tell how durable it is, but it's really good for A4 size/shape stuff

I'm opposed to copy-cat styles, but this time I will have to make an exception! I really can't wait for the high street to copy this style!!!
I love the bag, but I will never, ever be able to justify the price tag! I need a Zara price tag to justify the purchase!

they just released this style on the runway and now is available for pre-order..
that reminds me the IKEA bag, lol.

It looks like a plastic bag! Thai fashionistas expose how the rainbow-striped Balenciaga bag at Paris Fashion Week is VERY similar to a £1.50 holdall that's used for laundry

Models at Balenciaga wore large, colourful striped bags at the Paris show
Instagram users noticed a similarity with laundry bags from Thailand
Budding fashionistas have posed for their own pictures with their bags
The useful plastic holdall, known as sampeng, cost just 75 baht (£1.50)

I also LOVE the Bazar line. The leather is great, very much in the spirit of the Moto bags with all that crackling agneu, and they feel quite hard wearing to me. I love the gigantic clutches and the color combinations.
