I got the black flamma. The red interior is definitely more prominent in the bucket bag, can be seen even when it's closed, unlike the lady bag. But it's still a nice touch to me since I always like lining details.

Yes I agree. I love the pop of color when I open my bag. But it doesn't show like in the bucket. I had a camello dolly and the dolly just makes me happy!
You can buy from one of the stockists that have better return policy. I preordered black ballerina from one of the stockists. I think the inside color matters. You still see it when you open your bag. That's why I am waiting for a black ballerina when I can buy a black flamma right now. Flamma is pretty but I want something more subtle this time. My bucket is black flamma and I love it sometimes and sometimes I wish I had a different inner color
I had a regular lady and couldn't figure out how to keep the bag closed and secured. I sold it as a result. Maybe the mini is different, or maybe others have had different experiences.
Mine is the vege tanned leather. It seems OK if you loop the straps into both of the slots. There's 1 slot under the cover and another slot on the front of the bag. Not the most practical kind of closure, but it does seem to stay close.
okay another question on the lady bag.... are there 2 different leather options? (I think I read that Barneys sells saffiano and other places another kind of leather?) if so, whats the difference?

I have seen someone wearing it and it looked dark red rather than pink. It is gorgeous.
I have not mastered closing the flap well-it tends to be wide open more often than not.
There are 3 leather options-vegetable tanned, calf leather and saffiano leather (Barneys only). Look at the MG website to get an idea of options and colors.
