My mini lady is veg tanned, sorry if that wasn't clear! It's too small for my 13" MB but can comfortably fit my mini iPad, among other things.
My mini lady has just arrived and it's the perfect size! I'm so glad they came out with a smaller size for this design. It fits my iPad comfortably too which is a bonus.
For anyone in NYC- there is a black flamma lady at the Steven Alan outpost on the UWS with just the tiniest scratch (nothing that's not normal wear anyway and that a little chamberlains couldn't buff out) , and they're selling it for 15% off the $895. Someone please buy this so I'm not tempted! [emoji38]
It's just a touch too small to fit a normal notebook. The regular lady is probably a better size for this.

To be honest, I'm feeling slightly underwhelmed though. Not quite liking how the flap just flaps up like this (anyone has any suggestions/solutions?), or the feel of the vegetable tanned leather..
I do like how lightweight it is though.
(on the other hand, I did see some bucket bags -- sadly they didn't have any in mini available for sale, but I'm in love with the bucket bags in calf leather now..! Wish it came in calf leather camello/black!)

Silly question but how do I operate the closure on this? I've been using my mini lady every day since I got it a few weeks ago but I still feel like I'm not doing it right. Are the ties supposed to go through just the bottom loop? Or the one on the flap? Both?

first loop thru the one on the flap, then go thru the bottom one on the bag. hope this helps!

yes unfortunately it does a bit... would be better on veg tanned though! since it is more rigid. but for calf leather, it does bend in the middle. so usually I'll just loop through the bottom one
I received my first MG bag few days ago - a lady bag in black vege tanned leather and don't know how to feel about it. It's so different from all my other leather bags. While I like that it's lightweight, the stiffness of the leather makes it feels like I'm holding a plastic folder. For a $900 bag, it doesn't feel as luxurious as I expected it to be. At first I have decided to get this and a bucket bag during the next re-stock, but now I'm not so sure. Any of you feel the same at first? Is this a phase that will pass or am I alone? Will I grow to like the bag more as I use it? Will I feel the same for the bucket bag?
I feel the same way as you. Never really got into using my Lady bag and keep hoping it will grow on me, but it's so stiff that I find it difficult to use. Might be stuck selling it, although I love the way it looks and every time I see a pic I hesitate and try to give it another chance.
