Hi all, i'm new to MG, and this is my first MG: the mini lady bag in Rococo. Scored it from PS Dept sale.
I'm impressed by the quality. This is supposed to be the treated calf with canvas lining. Love the smooth and soft-enough leather. It doesn't slouch as i was afraid, and the color is lovely! Deep matte fuschia, almost burgundy.

OK, I've been seriously obsessing over a regular-sized Lady bag, in veg-tanned leather. I think this bag would be perfect for travel and a long-haul traveller (see what I did there?); it wouldn't be a bag I carry every day. Do any of you use it as a work/travel bag? Thoughts? Pros and cons? I am familiar with the closure and how that works, so that wouldn't be a con for me. Also, getting in and out of it wouldn't be a problem as that wouldn't happen a lot - once it's packed, it's packed until I get something out of it - not as often as if it was in regular use as a handbag. I just love the looks of it, and I love MG anyway...

I use it as an every day bag including taking it to work each day and have done since I got it. I love it. Don't use my buckets as much now. The regular isn't any bigger internally than the regular bucket bag just a different shape.
I love it though, definitely one of the best bags I've bought.

I just ordered a black regular lady bag as I needed a new workbag (I got black flamma - would prefer black/ ballerina but it was 25% off so just went with it). I decided to get it as i need a work bag to replace my retired workbag that will securely close and hold a laptop, small umbrella, notebook and essentials without being too heavy. I haven't seen one in real life yet so I look forward to it arriving!

Yeh I got mine on sale too. Not as much as 25% was the 15% off one. Definitely worth it.
I did buy another couple of MGs with the 25% off though. And a Sophie Hulme. It's a decent discount as I can't see the MGs being part of the sale or the Sophie Hulme Bag I got but it was also the last one.

I'm sure you'll love it.

I'm surprised things aren't selling as fast this time. Last time the 25% sale happened heaps of my wish list sold out etc but this time it doesn't appear anyone is buying.

I noticed that inventory is high too- I've been procrastinating all week whether to get it and decided to get it as I also can't see the price being lower down the track. I prefer the mini size but based on feedback on this feed I don't think it will fit laptop/ paperwork, etc. Which MG's did you get in this promotion?

Yeh definitely won't fit those in a mini, I have one of those too it's too small for laptops and things. Although I'm not sure I'd put a laptop in the regular either depending on the weight of it.

I got the camello sun bucket and the mini mini black dolly.
I also got the rococco mini lady but didn't like it at all so I sent it back the same day. I'd really like a few more since the prices won't be this good again until the next 25% off should they be available at that time (so surprised they were included at all!)

I'm really surprised they were included, as well. Were any designers excluded from the sale at all?

Not designers as such, just particular items were excluded, it said:

*Excludes items labeled ‘More Stock Coming Soon’, ‘New Season’, ‘Essentials’, ‘Fine Jewelry’ and ‘Exclusive’.

Only the black flamma tote was marked essentials.

Net a porter send out an email before the main sale to select customers with an offer for a discount. It includes items that won't go on sale, I can't imagine MG will go on sale (maybe the shoes might they don't seem to have been too popular). I bought stuff last time they did this that then wasn't included in the sale.
