What made you change your mind? I decided to keep mine, although I was planning on selling it, as I gave another try and am now back in love with it.

I found a bright. red tote by another brand that buttons at the top for a very similar price!! I figured I already have a black MG tote so nice to mix it up even though it doesn't close completely.

Do you feel that your wallet is secure inside the mini lady? I'm a bit concerned that it could fall out since there isn't a strong fastening for the front. I just love how this bag looks but I have concerns about keeping things secure.

Yes, because the flap automatically sits over the opening I do feel everything is fine in there. Apart from tightening the strings a bit I don't feel it necessary to use do anything else to secure the opening.

I do think it is secure if you close the bag fully. I don't really see it as an issue.

Hey guys!

Any idea what size of Lady bag is Gigi carrying here? It looks to be a perfect daily working bag size for me.
Thanks!

Hi, everyone! Reading this thread made me really want a lady bag in black/flammable or black//dolly. However, I cannot decide on what size will look best on my frame. I'm planning to wear it during weekends and sometimes for work. For reference, I'm 5'2 and the bags that usually fit my frame best is Celine micro luggage, givenchy small antigona and Louis Vuitton speedy 35. So, I'm really confused if I should get the mini lady or the lady bag as I cannot see the bag in person.
Comments and opinions are greatly appreciated. ☺️

Hello! I've been stalking this thread for quite some time trying to figure out which lady bag is for me. But I have a question. I plan on using a regular lady bag for a uni/work bag so I would be putting in my laptop (13 inch macbook pro), a notebook, as well as daily essentials. But I was wondering which leather would be best for this shape/size for my needs? I assumed the saffiano would be best but I don't really like the look of this leather. How do the other leathers hold out when filled up/used on a daily basis?

I'm also 5'2" and I have the mini - it's the perfect size for me. It also sounds like you prefer smaller bags generally so the mini is probably better for you :)

Hi there! I just ordered my first MG bag during this latest restock and decided to go with the regular Lady. I'm even shorter than you at barely 5' and really quite petite. (For perpsective, the bag in my avatar is obviously the medium YSL cabas - it's a tad bigger on my frame but okay for work, if not for the flashy color.) My favorite bag sizes are among the ones you've mentioned - Celine micro luggage, Givenchy small Antigona in particular - and most of my bags are the smaller sizes. However, I looked at dozens and dozens of photos of the regular vs. mini and did not find the size difference to be significant based off of photos. I did also purchase this bag specifically as a work bag and while I sometimes take my smaller bags with me to work (right now I'm alternating a petite 2Jours! That's tiny for a work bag and I have to carry my notebook and laptop separately all the time), the more space I have, the better. For a "light" bag like this, I don't think the size of the regular would be too overwhelming on a frame like ours. I'll know for sure when I get the bag in a couple of weeks - then I can come back here with my thoughts, if that helps! But I have a good feeling about my pick and know it will be functional for work. But then, if you're going to use your bag more during the weekends, then I think a mini would definitely have to do.

Hi! I got my regular Lady and I just might be in love! The size isn't disproportionate at all for petite ladies. It's just the right size for a work bag as you'll need more space for daily office needs and meetings. I'm so happy with it, my first MG! Excited to get a mini bucket next for the weekends!
